By 3 AM Pacific the Moon opposes Pluto and trines Ceres. Here the emotional consequences of power plays made around you will be clear–and you may find yourself rejecting what appears to be a straight-out grab for control in favor of power acquisition that seems to follow more ‘natural’ roles and could be seen as nurturing. Before you get all ‘Plutonian power bad, Ceres power good!’ consider that these are really two sides of the same coin–and that they’re actually working in concert–so there is no good or bad, just perception, and the way in which one strikes us as a caring despot, while the other seems a little Hitler-y.

A 5 AM quincunx of the Moon to Pallas makes for some smart adjustment ideas and suggestions–please follow them. After this everything goes smoothly, everyone cares, everyone is our friend (it’s that Cancer-kindness thing) until 2 PM PDT, when the Moon square the Saturn/ h.Zeus duo; then it becomes a harsh reality check where we may find our ambitions and desires thrown in our faces in very unflattering form. Don’t take this personally; the agent who criticizes is likely threatened, and agitated by what they may feel they’re missing. This person needs our understanding instead (though that doesn’t mean we have to agree, stick around for more harshness, or cut them a blank check–when we walk away they might realize they have to grow up, too). This is followed at 6 PM by a sextile to Juno, which shows us how our previous Self-control is serving to empower us–a nice way to wrap up the episode.
