Though the inclination with a Virgo Moon is to criticize the Self and others, to believe we can nit-pick our way to perfection, the first thing we must realize is that we cannot, that in fact adopting this attitude will prevent any and every bit of input that comes our way–and being fussy and ill-informed is the last thing any of us needs today! It can be a devilish placement, pushing us to be much more critical than is warranted. For the most part, I think, it’s all about Moon ruler Mercury right now, under tension and feeling pressured to perform, to do (conjunction to Mars). Merc ruler Jupiter in Pisces suggests an answer: taking a calm, accepting, and vision-oriented attitude can make the whole journey (at least today’s journey) easier.

Wondrous Julie, your comments came just in the nick of time. I was working on a very important, very detailed letter to a very difficult member of my family. It contains a great deal of truth which does needs saying and covers some important legal ground that has to be addressed. Days and days of work have gone into this, and just as I was putting the finishing, oh-so-beautifully-righteous touches on, along came your gentle warning.
BLESS YOU. Looking at it from that angle (and your advice has never failed to be spot-on) I believe I will spend the next eight hours modifying my tone before I hit the send button tomorrow morning. Not all truth needs to be detailed, and a little will go a long way. The journey ahead is still full of inevitable turbulence, but there’s no need to crash-land the plane and send all the passengers to hospital. Many thanks.
Julia
You’re welcome, Julia, and Thank You! I can relate to the desire to detail one’s position exactly–and know from experience that those details are often better kept to the Self. I think you’ll be glad of the modifications–the best part being, you’ll like yourself better, for not having gone too far.

Thank you. I hear too much, know too much to let myself be imposed on like that again. Much appreciated, lifesaver.
You’re welcome, Laura, and Thank You!
