We will likely be preoccupied with Merc direction energies, as all indicators point to Plutonian experiences, feelings, and perceptions. With the Moon fresh off an aspect to Pluto and heading toward the Sun (both sextiles) as the clock strikes midnight changing from 29th to 30th, PST, that Cinderella spark within (yes, guys, you have one too! It’s the need to see a light at the end of the tunnel, a promise of rescue by a change in circumstances) will be yearning for, searching for, a way to keep (or perhaps regain) that figurative glass slipper–and this will be something, an asset or belief-perception, that is suddenly not in our possession any more (think the Venus/ Sedna opposition across the Taurus/ Scorpio axis of the natal chart). We may feel bereft, abandoned, resigned to the loss of something that was perceived as a gift from a fairy godmother in the first place–but the truth is that it was karmic in nature, earned in some way, and will return in a better, more permanent form. Something to look forward to, and to allow us to relax with the loss, as a bigger change, a transformative event, is on the way.

Still waiting for Prince Charming to come my way!
Hoping the transformation works! (but that’s more like Skeleton Woman, facing the life and death nature of love… all the more so as the Moon is in Scorpio!)

it, (scorpio m) does give one a hightened awairness of body language, how men and women carry themselves and conduct business. I sort of have a cinderella disappointment, undeserving of a VIP invitation, but nevertheless excited when informed it was forthcoming…..but no dice, and it does have royal undertones, prince/paulper, the choice of real truth/beauty over glittering fraud. On the day, yesterday when the VIP was supposed to arrive instead there was an invite for the 90th birthday of my great Aunt by marrage. She is none the less famous, having the Aquarian knack of making something out of thin air as well as having 5 children of her own all musical so as to completely fill up the restaurant and send me bad vibes because we like each other. YOU know the picture!!! I’m expected to bow out and send a card which I will.
Wait a second! Didn’t Cinderella go to the ball in spite of all the bad vibes? Because she was invited, her invitation as good as anybody else’s. Perhaps you should reconsider–

Prince Charming seemed busy elsewhere so I won’t see him tomorrow evening. I’m disappointed, I’ve lost my glass slippers, and I’m now repairing my sheepskin slippers (it’s cold where I live!).
By the way, you say “glass slippers” but in the original version of the tale, it’s “fur”(“vair” in French, “verre”= glass only came in the later versions).
Good point, Katia–I’d forgotten about the mistranslation–oh my, fur makes for a vivid shoe image! I imagine Jung (and that crank Freud) would’ve made quite a bit out of C’s animal footwear!
Happy New Year to you, Katia! And I’m typing to you now while wearing my own sheepskin slippers (one of the benefits? of working from home!)

Cinderella was clearly a libra w/ a pisces moon…. thanks for the pat on the shoulder J.
You are welcome. Did you know I’m a Libra w/ a Pisces Moon? My husband says I play the Cinderella role in my birth family–which I suppose makes him Prince Charming! He’s a Self-obsessed Aries, through and through!
Happy New Year to you, Lucy!

well, Julie, glass slippers may look good but cannot possible be very comfy!
Hi Jude! I agree, though wooden shoes aren’t too bad, and those jellies and Crocs are downright dandy, so alternative materials can be, uh, refreshing!
Happy happy New Year to you!

what is most interesting about a pisces moon is the ability to harness energy/love from atoms, one see’s Louis Prima, ‘Just a Gigolo, I ain’t got nobody’, Sanatra; ‘the way you look tonight’, and Elvis; ‘wise men say only fools rush in’, all compellingly masculine, and different but they had pisces moon. (and all seemed not to die) And don’t forget Ginger Rogers and her energy. Cinderella was forced to pick up peas from the ashes befor going to the ball, the idea of collecting good, obeying her step mother, authority or petty tyrant, befor going to the ball cinderella was put to the test. (Disney has birds help her) The character of her fairygodmother is aquarian, able to manifist and tell cinderella things about herself that she already knew. (never had an Aquarian do that!) The manifested items were not real but dissappeared at midnight. If it was taurus energy they’d be real alright and Cinderella would have to feed and house footmen and horses and polish the carriage. The fairy godmother never asks for anything in return but that truth/love/beauty be held in high asteem and win the kingdom. and a Libra sun is cardinal and so equal to leadership.

the handsome prince probably is aries as they are often consumed w/ finding the right woman, the one who fits and is perfect. Fire signs believe in marriage as noble dynasty, a continuation of family lines, crest, inhertance. Aries will quest to find her. sag. tilts at windmills and will be consumed by trial & error, leo expects women to come to him. Aries will have someone in mind.
