1:30 PM PST there’s a sextile to Sedna, bringing a time when we just can’t pinpoint our emotions–don’t try, and don’t make decisions or give answers at this point that rely on emotional judgment or perceptions.
It’s also apparent that 2 degrees is a very popular placement: Venus, the Nodes, and Ceres, and they form a Finger of God, apex South Node. This suggests that either memories of the past or past experience will be instrumental in working out something presented at this time. The circumstances will involve a need to harmonize a Venusian element of the life (relationship, finances, values) with both the life direction (NN at opposing point to apex and midpoint of Venus/ Ceres) and Mother Nature and/ or authority in some form. The challenge is very likely a balancing act, a weighing of something personally desired with an external authority’s ability to affect our having it–and once we’ve aligned it with current life direction, we will receive a benefit from past circumstances, experience, or dealings. It’s as if, in this instance, we must handle the dilemma first, before we’re allowed to see the parallels from the past, the opposite of what we typically must do.
As to the shooting of the Congresswoman and many others in Arizona yesterday, I find myself so depressed by the event that I don’t want to look at the astrology–the whole thing sickens me, especially the issuance of “We are praying for you” statements from those responsible for stirring up the hate. They’ve made fame and money off their finger pointing; maybe today’s finger of God for them personally shows just exactly how their past actions have helped to f*ck up today–but I don’t hold a lot of hope that any who are truly responsible will recognize that fact.
There is also a midpoint pic that I think probably figures in to all this, Mars at the midpoint of Mercury/ Neptune–fantasy prompting deluded action, firearms, need I go on? I don’t want to feed the energy of this event by obsessing over it–instead I’m going to send my thoughts toward healing, and I hope you will, too.

It was a very strange day, indeed. Nothing is retrograde I though, so what gives?
You put your finger right on it, JD!
Thanks, Neeti–and I think we’re in for another, just maybe not so shocking

Once again, I have to thank you for clarifying energies I’ve been picking up on but didn’t understand. My progressed Capricorn Moon is exactly conjunct the North Node/reaction point of the Finger of God, and your description fits so perfectly it’s almost creepy. :O
As far as yesterday’s shooting goes, what a pointless waste. I thought maybe I was feeling a bit down because of what happened, but now I realize it’s more complicated. It’s tough not to be affected though.
Thanks again. LB
Thank you, LB–glad I could clarify–though not sure I want to be creepy doing it 🙂 jd

Amazing analysis, Julie!
i was about to email you and ask if your Pisces Moon was affected by Tucson events as is mine but i came here first. i posted on SO’W a few minutes ago just to be doing something ‘busy’ – the entire topic really has me feeling puny today (and no, i am not ready to give neoconners a ‘pass’ for their hate-filled rhetoric.)
Anyway, thanks for all you do for the collective, and hang in! The Aries Moon should treat our emotions a bit more gingerly as martian anger rises. Jude
Thank you, Jude. Selfish as it is, I’m glad not to be alone in the horrible down feeling I had/ have–and hope you feel better, too, with the ingress to Aries. I agree that should bring forward some true assertion of feeling over what’s happened/ happening–but boy am I tired of the show! Now to scurry to see what’s up at your place. jd

“Scurry” ? One of my favorite words next to “scamp”! T
Yes, they certainly made hay of it on TV Sunday and rather than admit they only knew so much, they kept on…
Don’t I know it! That’s why I didn’t watch 🙂

Julie you put into words what so many of us are feeling. There is a pervading sense of sorrow.
We have had so many events, the Gulf, floods in Pakistan, Haiti, Australia, bird and fish deaths, murder. We’re not seen the last, if what the astrologers are saying is true and I know it it, this Aries point, and Sheat coming into Uranus is going knock us for a loop.
Best to love all, serve all, pray.
