8 AM Pacific and the Moon squares Mars–temper is like a stone against flint, the flare fed by emotions too long neglected. By 10 AM PST the Moon is square Ceres; authorities may step in, settle (or cause!) conflict, or we may become highly aware of in what way our emotional nature is failing to connect with the environment.
How are you and the Saturn Retrograde getting along? With the exact square to Mercury in Cardinals, we may be having a very active ‘thought life’–with the retro period focusing us on our reality, and how we may change it ( or it may change us!)

I don’t know if it’s connected to the Rx, but I have been thinking about my father. He’s fine, I spoke to him this morning. But that’s what I’ve been thinking about: my father and me and what he tried to teach me and how much I learnt and what I still need to learn.
My guess would be, yes, this is Saturn speaking. Good to do this kind of review while everyone is well and relationships can be made even stronger.

jupiter return here so of course I’m feeling glum, counting all that I didn’t do and the future is depressing. (it isn’t saturn because last return was the same) All that aries isn’t good! rebellious and absolute. Jupiter then uranius. What my sister used to say about ny is you see all types, that will really start happening. Well maybe it is saturn a little I’m surrounded by 17 degrees of it! My lawyer sun/moon/saturn, my 2 sons have a total of 6 placements there.

I can imagine natal Jupiter here would make you hard on yourself–expecting the totally independent, Self-reliant warrior 24/7–and I’m sure Saturn throwing his hat in the ring doesn’t help 😦 At least it’s mostly temporary.
Next to a roaring fire sounds a lot better than next to a lake, at least as long as it’s winter–you can join me there, Lucy!

Saturn retro is bringing the same problems I thought were resolved, but apparently not.

I dunno,….it has me greatly concerned. Retro Saturn will hover over my Ceres, Juno, and Venus in the 12th (also my South Node),…within a few degrees of all of them. And, my H has Mars in the 5th @15 Venus with hovering Saturn. Not a good outlook for the next 4-6 years, being that it will move on to my Asc and my 2nd house after all of that — Ack, SATURN! Hopefully, Jupiter will be good to me and not oppose too harshly in all of that.
I’ve got only one thing to say here: Saturn is a positive influence, IF we are showing sufficient amounts of Self-discipline, restraint, and effort. Can it repress or delay? Sure, but that’s designed to turn our attention elsewhere, to delay for proper timing, and to keep us from running off in too many directions, scattering our time and energy. Saturn’s retro period is the time to get your ducks in a row, so that when it goes direct, you can collect what you’ve earned–maybe you’ll see it with less dread if you think of Saturn as ‘The Delivery Man’!

Trying to figure out whether to stay or go in marriage. Not getting what I need/want, but long time invested. Met someone two years ago who will give it to me. Oh what to do…
Hi Samantha. First, a relationship is not an investment–but, if you’re still in the marriage, you’re getting a ‘payoff’ of some kind (even if that’s negative, like the ability to blame your problems on it). Your tone implies you’re not taking any of it, the marriage or leaving it, seriously. The retro is a good time to review structures in our lives, including marriage. I can’t believe I forgot the Saturn/parents/father connection. I had an argument with my father yesterday after hardly ever having any kind of issue for eons. He said something sarcastic in response to a serious upset I had but I think we mostly worked it out though I still feel a bit raw about it.
Also, tomorrow we’re having a major change for all three of us over here–we all got food allergy testing so we have to change our diets pretty dramatically. I don’t know if that’s Saturn exactly–but it sounds like a Saturn-like restriction.
Hi, Take a look at whether your Ceres placement is involved (especially if it is affected right now by either Saturn or Jupiter–Jupiter would be my guess).

I thought I had all my ducks in a row. I forgot about duck-mating season, obviously. More and more ducks… I survived today, and so did the people around me. I still have a sense of humour. Bring ’em, I say!
