10 AM Pacific the Scorpio Moon opposes Jupiter in Taurus, and we either feel alienated from the crowd (with a dark churning inside us that hints that the social scene may actively be rejecting us) or we find ourselves on the emotional attack, dissecting the social scene and particularly its material proclivities, and citing how they should change, for everyone’s benefit. In either case, we are rejecting our own darkness, or projecting it, rather than accepting it, and making ourselves whole, rather than fractured but feeling superior to something. Invite the darkness to the surface, if you can–we’re entering that time of year, in the Northern hemisphere, when the veil thins and we come closer in awareness to the meaning of mortality than at any other time, so it’s appropriate to acknowledge and accept darkness right now, within and without.

What has transpired over the last 24 hours??? It can only be compared to a very sickening roller coaster. Some people in my immediate circle have behaving quite badly, with very defensive postures…I don’t know what is precipitating all this general anxiety, snarkiness, anger, and defensive energy but I am closing the door on those who project any of that toxic waste onto me…I don’t know if I bring it out in them or not, however, I do know that I have to be around people that think clearly, rationally, and don’t fly off the handle every other day….Thank God I don’t take it personally….lol
Thanks for bringing some clarity into this world that seems to be moving at warp speed.

Thank you, Serenity.
I can state with some certainty that you are not bringing out the worst in others; rather, it seems we are all feeling a great deal of pressure, which is revealing just exactly who we are.
You’re right to remove from your life those you find disagreeable–we should all do so.
Wishing you a lovely finish to the week 🙂

Julie,
Thank you for validating what I really knew instinctively, but in many other instances I would have just tried to smooth things over and make peace. Now it feels more important to be sincere and honest whether knowing that could change everything for the better…Looking for smoother and happier waters ahead :0)

It’s difficult Julie as you know people need the anger in order to grow, Iike my brother-in-law, was cruising for a bruising justified by me but I keep a placid surface, said little(emailed a bit), let him stew, less disruption all around. Anger isn’t fun, and this scorpio moon is up in arms and I don’t have much to add to your perfection…but if the brother-in-law comes after me watch out! Taurus/scorpio is better at the coiled spring, snake in the grass stance…BTW my capricorn son has a scythe he loves to use. most un-grim-reaper like in appearence otherwise.
(can you send me my password? lost it sorry)
Hi Lucy, you’re right–we do need anger to grow, and it isn’t fun–and I think family members are by far the most challenging relationships we have (and don’t they always seem like the ones where all the rules we apply to friendships and other encounters don’t count?) Satisfaction comes in that it’s just as much a ‘test’ situation for the other person. I think your brother-in-law would be unwise to mess with you 🙂
Thank you for saying there was some “perfection” here today.
And what you say about your son just goes to show we can’t tell what’s inside just by the surface; I always said I’d be the best air marshal–who’d think a heavy late middle age housewife could kick some ass? (excellent shot, quick reflexes, and react very well in an emergency–and I only know ’cause I’ve been in some emergencies!)
Your password is winging its way to you~

Hi Julie–
Love your posts.
When I feel the darkness, I usually get sick. This time it’s a persistent sore throat. It makes me retreat from the outside and get in touch with my darkness. It doesn’t have to be a depressing time, just a time to see what’s dark in me and ponder how I can bring it into the light.
Thanks
Hi Cyn, and Thank you!
Sounds like an excellent way to handle things–you sound very attuned, with spirit and body ‘signalling’ each other so clearly. And you’re right–the experience of darkness need not be depressing–in fact I think it’s only depressing when we deny it in some way.
Thank you for your comment–
