Had to take a couple of days to finish the magazine, so I apologize for neglecting my astro diary here–I hope no one was too disappointed with the lack of new material! But there are lots of great links in the blogroll–I hope you took advantage and visited many of them. As to the magazine, it’s the first issue of a quarterly featuring more detailed articles than the blog had room for. The mag is all done, the button’s up–yippee! The first issue is all my writing, but I hope to include paid pieces by other astrologers in the near future. And that brings me to this: I have this nagging feeling that there’s someone I’ve forgotten, to whom I promised a copy, so if that’s you, please remind me if you haven’t received a copy by Sunday evening my time (PST). If in-depth discussion of the featured topics interests you, I hope you’ll give Eclipse a try http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/eclipse-in-depth-astrology-for-the-21st-century/ Now, back to finishing up that Juno book!
But enough about me! The Taurus Moon conjuncts Sedna and trines the North Node around 9:30 AM PST on the 24th, and this sets the tone: a feeling of cluelessness when it comes to the emotions and the direction they’re carrying us. The Sun trines Saturn exact, and the Earth quincunxes Pluto exact, suggesting that the flow and dynamism of the day gets tripped up by restrictions that enter the stream so smoothly we are prone to take them for granted and accept the boundaries they impose ;and, material matters need adjustment to avoid decay, change, or destruction–between these two influences we have a focus on preventing some negative that may cause us to hold back (or even give up) on something which is the thing our energy should really be going toward–and the emotional blank spot we may experience will not help us see the bind. Look to the House of the natal chart with Leo on the cusp, and to the spot where the Sun is now transiting in the horoscope, to determine where we should channel the energy. The answer today is to choose a focus, rather than to allow influences to steer for us.
The Moon moves on to some strong aspects, a sextile to Uranus followed quickly by squares to Chiron and Neptune, making the atmosphere edgy and maybe overly sensitive, even quarrelsome. Don’t let the electricity get to you–the Void arrives at 7:03 PM PST, and though Voids can be all-at-sea feeling, this one is in Taurus and should allow us to spend a calming and meditative evening where we can soothe and comfort overselves, relaxing completely, preparing for the week ahead.
