It actually stopped being sunny this morning (though it was spectacular yesterday, bright and crisp, the crowds dotted with Remembrance Day poppies–now Veteran’s Day in the US); the harbor here in Victoria is foggy and this hotel, an old dowager called ‘The Empress’ is really quiet. So I’m sending you a virtual postcard and wave, with no real astrology (but the Sun is approaching opp to Sedna, which of course means the Earth is approaching conjunct, and this may obscure the very things we’re placing our attention on–a kind of compulsion to examine something we really can’t see! So whatever your eye is drawn to over the next three or four days, know that it deserves–or needs–your input and examination, but that you are supremely unsuited to analyze that particular thing now! Time to ask a friend for help). Have an excellent day–I’m off to coffee!

Lovely hotel a nice warm stay amongst this colder weather.
Yes, it’s like a Victorian hothouse–toasty warm! And making me reluctant to venture out into the gray.
You stay warm, too!

As a Canadian living in New York, I miss the red poppies pinned on everyone’s lapel. I love Victoria. Remember to have tea at the Empress.
It is beautiful here, isn’t it? I like visiting on Remembrance Day–there’s something special about the way everyone conducts themselves, about the weather–it’s a little like the whole country is a church at this time. Tea at the Empress? Yes, if we don’t get distracted by the Bengal Lounge, first!
Thanks, Layla!

the heavens are active, meteors, northern lights. glowing globes? perhaps 1 will pay you a visit. Several winters ago a shooting star lasted so as to notify many, it burned like a giant matchhead on the horzion. Leonid meteor shower is at max around the 17.
Places in northern maine are so dark y c satellites

cougar is euphemism for older woman in search of a man.
Didn’t think of that, Lucy! But looking back–no, no alluring singles roaming the halls!
