Void begins 6:26 PM PDT; Moon enters Capricorn 6:57 PM. That brings us to the Moon square Uranus at the Aries Point, likely causing us to re-visit in some way our experience with Uranus into Aries. We may see a re-iteration of our personal Uranian experience, or we may see a contest of Wills, the erratic individual vs. the rules, the stoic, the confines of our own emotional understanding. Likely a sticky situation wherein anyone with a rebellious streak will go to town–and everyone else will be left in the Capricornian dust, picking up the pieces and stunned into goat-like silence.
I know it doesn’t sound pretty, but it may liberate a certain element within all of us that is a little too attracted to extremes, to drama, to the angry shout and flounce out of the room. So, think of it as a necessary purge, and don’t hold the role chosen against anyone who participates in the play.
Later evening sextiles to Ceres and Chiron simply allow us to establish who’s in authority (without any drama) and to heal.

I sooo want to understand this more clearly; however, I think my true Cap self is over-analyzing. Julie, would you provide some clarity for me…what does this mean/what can I expect/look for in my little world??!! Thanks for holding my hand!
Peace,
Robyn
Hi Robyn,
I think you might be wanting to pin things down too exactly–that is the way that makes Cap feel safe, after all–but the problem with that is in expecting certain things you may miss what’s really happening–so you may need flexibility, rather than clarity. It sounds like this is stirring fear in you, and I suspect that means you are anticipating losing a sense of control in your world in some form; with today’s Moon crossing your MC and entering your 10th, you may be worried about a very public or career-related scene (subscribers get a slightly more detailed answer to their questions, with a glance at their charts), and with Uranus transiting the 1st, you’re either worried about perpetrating something yourself or that the effect will be all on you, and t Uranus is square n Vesta from 29 deg, an inherently stressed position, and the Moon will pass over it just before the square to Uranus is exact, all suggesting that you’re afraid something very important to you, something sacred, is in danger of being upset or even destroyed.
Are we any closer to an answer? Maybe, as I’m thinking Uranus rules your 12th, which contains things, both natally and by transit, that say what you may be worried about is, in the most general terms, the loss of a dream you may sense you are on the verge of attaining (and this may be carried totally unconsciously, and so be ‘news’ to you!) Two points, then: with much of the material (including a good part of the reason for the fear) carried below consciousness, it’s not a matter that can be sorted and pinpointed (much to the chagrin of your Cappy-ness!), which means you must trust the Higher Self as it orchestrates things through both the circumstances you create/ attract and through the unconscious influences to the Self; and two, you arein control of yourself, and your chart suggests in this instance you are a big part of the equation–and that means you can not only control your part in things, including your responses to the external, you can recognize that whatever comes at you today is in all ways a meant-to-be-experienced thing–and so what comes forward will reveal to you the nature of what coulddisrupt your life if you were less observant.
I hope that helps!

Oi vey! I read this after reading today’s “Essence” and the subscriber area, which did in fact provide additional clarity. What struck me first, most and hardest was today’s graphic – the colors, the expressions on the “skelekins” (how my cousin pronounced them as a child!), the movement I see in the figures, and I can feel this all happening. Second, reading your response reminds me yes, I need flexibility. I have worked tirelessly the last year and a half to find balance, stay strong through a really difficult time in my life. I emerged better, different, with an open my mind, body and heart to every possibility the Universe may offer. As a complete novice to astrology and to understanding this “new” feeling to an “old soul”, I do find I need reminders to remain open. Thursday afternoon brought feelings of anxiety and short breaths until I reminded myself to address the feelings, meditate and let it subside, which of course it did, and quickly. Your synopsis of what I needed/felt is very accurate – loss of a dream, one which I am not yet willing to let go; however, I remain open to all possibilities. I have learned to trust my intuition and pay attention to everything which goes on around me, which is difficult sometimes when life is like a hamster wheel. I say this as I am running off to the gym at this early hour on a Saturday. I will be back to this later today when I can slow down and really think this through. There I go, Cappy who needs to think! As always, thank you Julie. This is immensely helpful! Warmly, Robyn
Glad it’s all working for you–it sounds like you’ve achieved an excellent balance (if a little overworked, the Cap stereotypical fault!) Your learning curve has been steep but you’re facing it very well–just make sure to really take some time for yourself (not the kind Cap loves so much, ‘leisure’ combined with a task, like taking your homework on a picnic!)
Thank you, Robyn!
Best,
jd
