Just before 9 AM PDT the Moon conjuncts the South Node in Gemini. This can bring a flood of memories, each of which triggers an emotional response; or, we may find ourselves emotionally entangled in something that steps directly from the past into the Now, sending us off on a mental tangent. In either case, we may find ourselves attempting to deal with an emotional reaction by using mental faculties–this does not work. Though it’s scary as hell, let the emotions overwhelm, let them flow and really experience them–because once you do, you’ll gain a natural distance (you won’t be holding them back anymore, so there’ll be no push by the unconscious). Perspective is all with this aspect; meeting the flood unafraid (or at least, willing to let happen what will) can make all the difference. You can exorcise something that has been a significant drag on the unconscious ability to process the emotions–so, 5 4 3 2 1 do it! ![]()

I did take time to have a little bit of a cry today, but I didn’t linger on it too long or feel sorry for myself. I feel better for it, so I guess that’s good!
I think it’s good to get it out. I hope you’re feeling better 🙂
BTW love your new icon!

Why thank you! 🙂 I love these marvelously lime green/avocado/whatnot shades. 🙂 They can hide my puffy eyes during difficult transits. 😉
You’re welcome. I’ll have to get some like that too–green really improves on the puffy eye thing 🙂

By the way, thanks so much for putting me on your blog roll! So kind. 🙂 I don’t have a blog roll, but if I did you’d certainly be on it. 🙂 Hope the last few days of your merc retro go well. 🙂
You’re very welcome. I hope your last days of Merc retro go well, too (mine have been just slightly hellacious) 😉

Hmmm…I am traveling on business this week, so I cannot afford the luxury of a good cry and actually, I don’t feel the need; however, I think my very thought provoking dream right before waking up this morning now has an explanation. I dreamt I left my car with a parking attendant and I returned to see water literally flowing fast and furiously out of one closed door and the another. After it stopped, I got in and saw the soaked interior, althought it was ruined, neither the carpets or the leather. Interestingly, I could not get Tripl A to respond because I am an OnStar client and there was turf war between the two. I woke up thinking Triple A was calling me on the phone and it was actually the alarm ringing on my mobile phone. I felt fine emotionally all day. Hmmmm…
Sounds like you sorted something important (and with an emotional component) out to your satisfaction. Can’t ask for more than that, can we? Thanks for sharing–I’ve had similar, should be stressful but really aren’t kinds of dreams lately too–though I find the part where there is a turf war in your dream intriguing–I’m assuming there might be a similar scenario in your business life, since you had the dream while traveling for same–perhaps that’s giving you the answer to some difficulty?

I meant the interior was not ruined, which I think is significant…
Agreed. Whenever there’s something that defies logic, I think it’s an important part of the dream.

JD, interestingly I had another water dream two mornings ago. A leaking water bed, started slow and then just grew and frew until t caused a flood. These dreams didn’t bother me, though I was paying attention becausae I am traveling. So I just read your comments above and interestingly at a business dinner last night I was verbally attacked by a peer, in front of a two VPs. Turf war? Not sure, but one VP mentioned to me afterwards there was clearly jealousy. We are part of the same team and she is new, so maybe turf war is apt. Any thoughts? R
This is from the protected page for last evening, and would’ve been valid for all North American time zones: “9 PM Pacific the Moon sextiles Sedna; suddenly we may be unsure of how we feel. Don’t let this get to you, or panic and change your mind about something–it’s a momentary blind spot–nothing’s really changed” This suggests your colleague may have freaked out when she or he lost emotional footing. You may have been sensing that this individual is suffering an excess of emotion which has nowhere to go (the water dreams that don’t frighten you or show any real harm). If you are on the same team, the best response might be to befriend this person–it not only might help them, but also prevent you being a target again. Good luck, Robyn 🙂

You may be exactly right and thank you. Unfortunately, the time for befriending is past as the attack cauased me to need/want real distance. She is on my team, so I will leave the door open for the future, but with great hesitation. I am afraid she will need to find guidance and frienship elsewhere, as a result of her actons. Nonetheless, very thought provoking for me. Thank you. Can’t wait to catch up on protected pages, which I normally don’t read on my CrackBerry and had zero time to access them this week! Thanks again, Julie!! Peace, Robyn
You’re welcome, Robyn, and thank you–and best of luck to you, it’s not easy to work with someone who has burned the bridge right under your feet.
Happy New Moon to you!

The earthquake! very significant to my inner life as ever since last year (we had another smaller one here in D.C. 7/16/10) which corresponded to a great upheaval (I’m aries and have been getting creamed by cardinal cross events) – But this new earthquake very much like an opening to resolve something from last year that was bugging me… it does seem I can clear some emotional blockage… (the unfairness of it all, abandonment by God etc..)
– All this a week ago!! seems like months since 8/23 !! very strange…
Again, well said. I think you express what’s going on for many–it’s just that not all the earthquakes have had literal correspondence in the outer, personal world! Glad to hear that it represents a chance to move forward for you–that’s excellent news. And it DOES seem like a week ago feels more like a month ago! at least. Have a great Tuesday, guru!
