Just before 1 PM PDT the Cancer Moon opposes Pluto, bringing us face-to-face with the Underworld. Consider what we see ‘out there’ is telling us what may come forth from ‘in here,’ and need to be dealt with; as long as we deny our darkness, we will summon it into our reality.
6 PM PDT the Moon squares Juno and trines Vesta, making us feel like we’re contradicting ourselves: empowerment options are not working out, even as we are aware that we are honoring all that’s most important to us. Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that if we have the ‘right’ attitude, everything will fall into place; the fact is, it does, it’s just that sometimes what aligns is not what we want–and that’s where we get confused, equating alignment with manifestation of our own Will. Call this a ‘modesty making aspect’–because we will receive a dose of humility during this process.

Nothing can really surprise me anymore – I just hope my daughter made it safe to work in the borrowed car in this storm. However, I’m convinced everything will fall into place somehow. 🙂 Not betting on something specific though as we’re going through this stark reality adjustment.

Yes, it’s storming again and we’re on tornado watch. Our town got destroyed last Sunday by a F3 tornado and we’ve been living with friends out in the country since. The New Moon will conjunct my ASC (+na Mars) and oppose DSC/Vesta. Hopefully, we’ll be back “home” by then. xo
Oh V, I’m very sorry to hear that, but glad you’re well. I hope you can move back in soon–the NM may promise just that, especially with your natal Vesta involved. Hugs, stay safe and dry! jd

some are saying that until venus returns in Sept. it’s just time to step back, way back,
(because that’s where we are really) but good time to be just so objective about your
life and so much healing can be done, or just hanging out with some trees or something…
like we’re hung on that plutonic hook until venus returns as evening star…
feels like it anyway… inbetween earthquake jolts, etc.
…at least it isn’t raining..

the alignment seemed to be about the earthquake on east coast falling on same day
as anniversary of Katrina 8/23 … What’s interesting about that, (besides the fact that
as you say, it creates confusion of what one is manifesting, the interesting thing about that is, well, Katrina. That was a huge storm and a huge statement from the Earth 6 years ago- I always thought Katrina was very interesting in that way. Pictures of it from space evoke awe — and it seemed very apocalyptic. (perhaps what is in me…pick up what debris is left you and carry on, etc.. just like those people affected by it had to do..)
Katrina represents something about the Earth to me… a message of change…the Earth really speaking… all the recent natural disasters in fact… It is the Earth…it is Mother- it is comforting in that sense and brings one closer to Earth and reality (even while totally wiping you out…) But because it is about Earth… it evokes a sense of love nonetheless.. (perhaps that is what should be realized from within !) We’re all in it together… helping each other just like any large scale disaster.. -Katrina
