We may be caught in an emotional web where we try to rationalize the ego’s critical ways; we may be lead farther and farther into intellectualizing those things around us that are making us uncomfortable, but the answer is found in feeling, which for the moment seems awkward and inadequate. Too much Self-focus, or aggressive focus on others, will not help. Here the answer may be to adopt some earth-based (in the material realm) action that can ‘burn off’ the energy without damage to ourselves or innocent (or not so!) bystanders.
