Seurat 1883-1884 {{PD-Art}}

Void begins at 8:43 AM PST; the Moon enters Virgo at 9:33 AM Pacific. Immediately Luna opposes Neptune and quincunxes Venus, and we either become hyper-critical of those who are imaginative, ungrounded, or who are preferring fantasy to reality, or we lose sight of the details in a need for escape or relief. What we need to see is that this will cost us; how much is dependent on whether or not we are able to adjust our reactions to respect our relationships.

Approaching 3 PM Pacific the Moon trines Jupiter in Earth–and if we want to be generous, we could say this starts a big ol’ sloppy Grand Trine with Pluto–and may set up a kind of push and pull between emotional needs/ material insecurities and big scary change either personally, to what we ‘know’, or on a broader scale, before us on the panorama of the social scene. It’s odd that a Trine would create an energy that is more like an opposition, but in this case it feels like things shake out with wee personal feelings and vulnerabilities on one side and massive, threatening changes affecting whole segments of society on the other.

4 PM PST the Moon opposes Chiron–if it hurts, we’ll find it, and give it a good salt rubbin’! Here’s the thing with this: the pain is almost entirely Self-inflicted; with some emotional discipline and rational perspective (accessible during a Virgo Moon transit) we can separate ourselves from our wounds rather neatly. So try that.
