27 August it’s all about power, and the power we imagine we have is for all intents and purposes what we actually wield. That means a couple of things: those who believe they are powerful really are; those who have no conscience or awareness of others as separate human beings are actually dangerous; and those who believe they have no power will find that fantasy (for it is a fantasy, to think we are helpless) playing out, too. Talk, and what we see, reflects only a small portion of the power-shifts going on; assume what’s obvious is like an iceberg, that there’s a lot more to things that we don’t see.

As well, there’s basic conflict between opposites; expect butting heads rather than cooperation, even when getting along would be easier. (Perfecting today: Neptune parallel Ceres, Venus square Mars, Mercury semi-square Ceres, Sun contra-parallel Ceres and Neptune)

As much as I appreciate being mentioned in blog awards, I typically stay out of actual participation solely because it can be so time consuming, but I’ve been very kindly mentioned by one of my favorite bloggers over at An UpTurned Soul and so thought I’d quickly list some of my other favorite sites and astrology bloggers: Astro Inquiry  Amy LaBonte (Art and Writing)  Big Sky Astrology  Learning Curve on the Ecliptic  Julie Reisner (ceramics)  Chirotic Journal  and the always excellent and intriguing Stars Over Washington! There are lots more–just browse the sidebar at the right if you’re looking for something new
