Moon enters Aries at 10:33 AM of the 29th. Oh Aries, we’re all a little tired of your brash, almost-bully assertiveness, I think; you’ve been nothing but hard on all the Cardinals, especially Aries–those people have been through the wringer. Now the Moon comes along and offers reflective light–an understanding that comes from throwing illuminating awareness on Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Venus, and Jupiter, all in Aries–and some are more happy in the sign than others, which will become abundantly obvious.

The effect may be that nearly the entire time the Moon is in Aries, we will be receiving various insights on the energies placed there as they relate to us personally–and how comfortable the energy is in the sign of the Ram may have a lot to do with the manifestation–so I’ll concentrate interpretation on that, rather than on the usual Lunar progression.

Merc here speaks up, especially for himself (and though he may lead, he champions his own cause first and foremost), and may get quite aggressive, not even meaning to; coming off the retrograde as he is, there’s a lot of pent-up lip looking for a subject–we’ll be treated to a variety of cheeky exchanges–and we’ll generate some pretty angry or assertive thoughts and action plans of our own. Danger level: high

Uranus may be more positive for those with natal Uranus in the Fire signs of Leo and Sagittarius than for those with natal Uranus in other signs. The emotional awareness and intuition may focus on unique expression for the individual–it might seem it’s now or never, which of course is a fiery exaggeration–so the effect can be all the way from highly productive and inspired to innovate to crazy, irrational, and chaotic. Danger level: totally dependent on your Uranian energies–but here’s a hint, if you’re normally controlled and Self-disciplined, you’ll probably find it a very creative Moon

Around 8 AM PST the Moon reaches out and makes a swing with Neptune at 29 degrees, and Uranus sits smack in the middle, also at 29 degrees–but that’s not all: the Moon in all her Arian-ness receives a square from Pallas at 29 of Capricorn. Suddenly (for Uranus is involved) what we are imagining, creating, and/ or fantasizing about is challenged either by what we know, or what we know our skills can handle. It’s urgent, likely creating the feeling that we must work this out right now, and also that we may be losing a valuable opportunity if we don’t just push forward–but that just isn’t so. Realize that the sense of pressure is an illusion, and wait for a more clear-eyed moment to act or make choices. A possible alternative to that experience is one where we meet the conflict over whether our skills are adequate only to find that the group keeps us hamstringed, unable to move in the direction we’d like to go–darn group!

This may make the start of the Aries energy feel especially rough; we were gliding along, attending to our own business, getting things done (buoyed by the sextile to Venus, 9AM PST), and then wham! an 80s pop duo surfaced out of nowhere! No, wait–it’s not that bad! We just find conflict with some agent for the lord of the Underworld–and he’s probably not wearing pink short shorts and a crop tee–but then, you never know what form a destructive force out to make us change may take

The Moon’s sextile to Mars (3 AM PST) and sextile to the Sun (by 4:30 AM Pacific) and trine to Earth (same time) really pushes us to act, do, make happen, especially with things that hook into either our Higher Mind ideas, or our image of ourselves, and in some cases, both. Unless our sense of ‘personal mission’ is strongly formed at the moment (either through Aquarian awareness or Leo identity) we would be better off delaying definitive action for now–there’s too much emotional impetus and too little connection to who we really are, except in those cases where one is truly aligned with and in the pipeline to specific, well-vetted and appropriate-for-us goals.

Just before 7 PM PST the Moon opposes h.Zeus, and we either have our ambitions or desires stirred, or we are slapped in the face with them, the latter likely perpetrated by a third party who either doesn’t approve of our wants or who finds them inconvenient. Don’t slap back, much as you might like to; the fact that this party reacted as they did says that you are in the power position–it’s up to you whether you modify your inclinations in order to please this individual or not.
