The Sun enters 00 Sagittarius and the Earth enters 00 Gemini at 2:14 AM PST. As planets of earliest degree, we may ‘lead with our identity’ or with a strong consciousness of our material position (by ‘lead’ I mean in that way we put this element of the Self forward first). At 00, though, it has a raw edge (some might call it innocent) and that can spell vulnerability for the first couple days of the transit through Sagittarius. Just take care to assess a situation before rushing in (and be conscious of the ‘foot’ you start out on!)

to continue a thought….The first thanksgiving wasn’t ‘thanksgiving’at all but ascension day (nov. 17) in celebration of QEI’s ascension to the throne. 100 years after her death ascention day was still celebrated and it was for HER, good Queen Bess, that early American, (British) colonialists had their feast. FDR made it officially thanksgiving in 1941.
JFK was assassinated on Nov 22, 1963. The plotting done during scorpio’s pent up energy, the cruel spring released in the early degrees of Sag.

another thought on death and power. George Washington’s step daughter Patsy Curtis to whom he was devoted to the extent of holding her during epileptic fits, died right befor his rise to power. Her death served 2 purposes, 1 he inhereted, her 1/2 of the curtis entailment, fortune going only to men and so freed him from dept that a past planting only 1 crop, tobacco, had caused, and 2 made him fearless. Washington’s piscean mixed feelings over her death, a childless man, a daughter that he couldnot save and the boon to him finanicially is what propelled him to greatness. He no longer feared death, lead battles on a white horse to draw fire, his hat struck through……wonder if you, Julie can put zeus in his chart.
