Though our actions and choices are spontaneous, even impulsive, it’s what we think that makes or breaks the day. We may have an anti-reality streak going, refusing to acknowledge anything we’ve been ignoring or denying, refusing to see ‘Stop’ signs, obstacles, and the hard edges on things, and the past only irritates–and yet, we are so captured by idealism, by the power in the receptive or seductive, and by the power of commitment and the sacred, that we forge ahead–and the good thing is that it’s this idealism, this sort of faith, that shapes the forms our impulses and actions take, and so diverts us from harm or serious misstep. Allow that impulse, and don’t over-think it, and you could set in motion something unexpected and fortuitous.

For those born with the Sun at 01 Gemini. Check your natal chart for the correct Sun degree (you may want to read both the degree number and the one that follows, if you have minutes on your Sun position–together these offer a more complete picture of your year ahead). You may be feeling unsure emotionally this year, dear Gemini, and that could dominate circumstances as you repeatedly visit how you feel about what’s going on around you or happening to you–and you should know this sort of passive, observant, feeling stance is actually a good one for you to take this coming year, through to your next birthday. It doesn’t mean forward progress or your own efforts stop; it does mean that you should practice a no resistance, no-harm-caused attitude that allows you to receive and respond without becoming so Self-focused that you miss what’s around you. Through centering the perceptions on feeling, you will find surprising avenues to empowerment, and you’ll see how sometimes not taking action serves to put the wheels in motion very successfully. Good luck!
