The 18th Is A Good Day To . . . know that Self-assertion centered in a confident and accurate picture of who we are will be highly effective–but assertion that ignores barriers or reality itself, that grabs for power, that skips over inconvenient facts, and that is not based in kindness, will burn us down through our own poor choices. That could make it sound like this is a hide-under-the-covers day, but it’s not; all we have to do to avoid disaster is to refuse to try what we think is a short-cut in the handling of any situation. We may be tempted to cut corners today in an area we haven’t mastered, or aren’t that familiar with–but if we know our strengths and weaknesses, we also know where short-cuts just won’t work–so really, this is about our ability to be honest with ourselves about what we know and what we can do.

A Good Day To . . . is based on the aspects perfecting on each day, Pacific time.
