6:30 AM PST the Taurus Moon trines Mars. Oh. We may act on our feelings–and considering what’s come up recently, I am trepidatious about what might come flying out of us. Of course it will be different for each–oy   and the venue we choose will likely be material. We may eat, throw things, shoot (arrows, guns, pool, the breeze, you name it) but we will in some form interact with our environment, and may show temper, not to others directly, but to the surroundings, when ‘they’ don’t do what we want!

1 PM PST the Moon opposes Juno, and we may find ourselves in a bit of an empowerment quandry, and this comes about in a way that’s surprising: we may suddenly find ourselves being pressured by, wrangled by, or pushed by someone else who seems bent on demonstrating they have some power over us. This seems to come out of nowhere, and makes us wonder, ‘Who’s really in charge of us, ourselves, or someone else?’ Though it seems this power grab by another is undeserved, what’s really happening is that they are acting out an empowerment need of ours, one we’ve not acknowledged or that’s not even in our consciousness yet. So now we know.

4:30 AM PST the Taurus Moon trines Pluto; it’s a New Year’s housecleaning both literal and figurative. We can ‘come clean’ in some important way, especially as the emotions relate to the material situation, and we may receive revelations about how to nurture ourselves, particularly by resurrecting old pleasures or comforts. If these concern resurrecting an old relationship, don’t (Moon square Venus/ Pallas exact conjunction midnight-ish). Judgement is compromised by sentiment and desire. Don’t argue with me about this one!!

4:30 PM PST the Moon trines the Sun. A confidence booster, which may feed into that above mentioned possibly poor relationship decision. If that doesn’t apply to you, this can make for a productive bender, especially if you work in artisanal forms or at anything by hand.

6:30 PM PST the Moon quincunxes the South Node–emotions trying to adjust to the past–see above! This begins a Finger of God with h.Zeus sextile SN as the base. This amplifies the desire scenario and makes it seem imperative that we fulfill that, especially in the lust department (you didn’t know there was a ‘Lust Dept,’ did you?) and this will culminate with that aspect at midnight of Moon/ Venus/ Pallas. Since the Moon is the apex, we can anticipate that fulfillment of the sextile base will bring satisfaction–but considering the other aspects for this period, the satisfaction will either be short-lived (if it’s relationship-based) or regrettable, as the thing we long for is definitely out of the past–and as we know, there’s a reason things go into our past and stay there! If we’re not pursuing reviving a relationship, then it’s likely to be something that used to be a comfort or ambition, and we should consider very carefully why that was dropped from our active agenda in the first place, as the reasons it was abandoned still stand.

10:30 AM PST brings the Moon quincunx Saturn, hinting that we will either modify ourselves to reduce emotional chafing! or re-orient ourselves emotionally in order to comply with rules, authority, or reality. This is a modification better done now than ignored, to come back and smack us later.

By 2:30 PM PST the Moon squares Neptune. There’s emotional confrontation over fantasy, delusion, or lies. Obviously, we won’t look forward to this, but the plus it will offer is that we’ll be shown someone’s actual priorities or values, especially in relation to the material situation. Bonus hint: this may present as someone accusing you of being ‘too emotional’ while they appear to be cool as a cucumber, or they may frame things as reasonable or rational (them) v. irrational, delusional, or ridiculous (you). Just know that this will either be a case of projection (them on you), or an attempt to influence or control (them of you), and that you should listen to your own emotional and/ or intuitive response, which will be surprisingly objective, in terms of accuracy.
