Just a few things I’ve noticed that I’d like to bring up, along with a plug for Twilight’s Arty Farty Friday http://twilightstarsong.blogspot.com/2010/10/arty-farty-friday-paul-gauguin.html–you’ll love it, especially if you enjoyed the section on Gauguin and creativity in the Summer Eclipse http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/new-summer-2010-eclipse/.
This weekend we have an active dynamic that says to me we’ll make some power plays, confident in the wisdom of our choices, but the results will be more an accumulation of something planted much earlier, and so impossible to know from our current reasoning whether our choices are good ones (unless, that is, we can take a moment and see that others may respond out of the past). We see this in the approaching Superior Conjunction of Mercury and the Sun (Superior referring to the fact that this is their conjunction when Mercury’s direct); Juno’s trine to the North Node (and learn all about Juno in the natal scenario and in synastry here http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/); Ceres, the North Node, and Pluto are all moving toward conjunction with one another (material on Ceres here http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/new-eclipse-spring-2010/); Ceres at the rough midpoint of Vesta/ Pluto; other than Merc, the Sun makes no contact to the personals and neither does Pluto, and Mars is a bit estranged, too, but Jupiter jumps right in a touches just about all of them (a sesquiquadrate to Venus, quincunxes to the Sun and Merc, a trine to Mars) and that means tension x5, bringing forward grandiosity, exaggeration, and the temptation to overdo ‘it’ in those prone and/ or operating unconsciously–others may ‘broadcast,’ perhaps unwisely. With the Moon tracking through Aquarius this weekend, the tendency will be toward cool and collected, but for some this will overemphasize the rational, to the point where relationships become equations and the belief is we can think our way out of anything–not so, just to be forewarned. Add a little dose of your own Moon to things, to keep the emotions open and yourself consciously connnected to more usual ways of feeling/ intuiting.
And have an excellent weekend!
Thanks and have a great weekend yourself, Julie!

Aquarius clears out the dead wood, don’t you think? JD I love the ongoing play, stars as characters invest imagination and find place.
Capricorn moon had me not asking back a difficult man, (who worked for me) His bad vibes cracked glass, (teapot, bowl, light bulbs) his angry face hung befor me in the dark. Early thursday I discarded some ashes, (live so we found out) from our woodstove on the compost, by night they caught fire to the fence…in the dark it resembled a cross burning.
I do agree that the Aquarius Moon is a good time to clear out the dead wood–but maybe that’s because Aquarius is my rising sign, so I’m partial to the vibe 🙂
That episode, man + fire, is a little scary–I hope you’re not feeling threatened by him–feeling that a fire is like a cross burning suggests you really tuned in to his anger. Stay safe (first I wrote, ‘Stay sage’!) jd

Avoid conflect and you get it, a days work to correct a job, the money lost, his drug use. Drugs, even pot inflame the spirit so it escapes, restless and stronger than the man who’s a drunk, chain smoker, (cigarettes hide pot smell or so he thinks when he shows up in the AM) He’s 55 and so has the possible cancer jupiter/ uranius opp capricorn/mars & scorpio/saturn. He stands his ground when challanged, mars/ capricorn, and is emotional over kindness, uranius/ cancer. don’t know his d/o/b. Another problem is me as I love brilliance and will take it in the worst packages, forgetting that character is what keeps mind/body together. My MO is I keep talley under a calm exterior so he thought his deception (in this case) was unnoticed. Thanks for hearing me JD.
You are welcome–glad to listen, Lucy
