The 6th is a Good Day To . . . stick to your highest values, fulfill commitments, and actively honor all that you care about–it will pay off, sometimes significantly. It may look as if those values and sacred areas somehow need adjustment, but that’s an optical illusion–they are excellent just the way they are–and connected to this, it may seem like your ability to affect circumstances is curtailed–but again, it’s a trick of the mind, rather than an accurate perception, and you should instead turn your attention toward honoring values–that’s where spending your energy will really matter.

The 5th is a Good Day To . . . wonder just how what was wise or practical yesterday has somehow changed today. Really, it’s not that what’s smart has altered, it’s that we are working out the kinks in our instincts and in those things we ‘know but don’t know’, especially in terms of Love, relationships, or money, and with more information what looks like a wise approach or a smart thing to do changes. Choose based on what you know today, not what you knew yesterday.

The 4th is a Good Day To . . . be aware that what’s smart doesn’t empower us–and power is what we want and need, in one form or another. Our way toward a solution is to think about/ face what we’d normally ignore or deny, or deal directly with what enrages us. It’s in taking on the unpleasant face-to-face that we ‘fix’ what’s preventing us from moving forward, that quite suddenly makes what’s smart practical, once again. The solution to the power dilemma is that simple, and that hard.

The 3rd is a Good Day To . . .  express your sexy, gorgeous, loving Self, going after what you crave, looking to get your reward–don’t worry, Venus is in Capricorn, bringing a good dose of restraint to all that desire fulfillment and sensual enjoyment–you’ll have too much good taste to overdo. It may present in yourself and others as frivolous pleasure seeking, but in reality there’s a serious, buttoned-down core that’s looking to build or achieve something solid and even lasting. Too, if part of what you desire is change, you can figure out some genius ways to make it happen–just look at what forms of power your attention is drawn to–those hold hints as to what you can co-opt and make work for you. Anything dark gets a light shone on it, so be prepared.

The 30th: Lady Power! Venus conjoins Ceres in Capricorn, melding the receptive, loving, jealous, asset-related, and relationship-focused with a sense of personal authority and a confidence in one’s own ‘right thinking’. For some (specifically those who have ‘worked’ for ‘it’) this will be highly beneficial and rewarding; for those normally oriented to taking a more assertive stance, those used to imposing their Will on others and their world, this may be disconcerting and even disempowering. A passive openness after hard work and playing by the rules is what’s in vogue; too, the material reality around us or the guardrails keeping us in our own lane may require some adjustment to our direction but once accommodated may shine a light right where we need to be looking. Don’t take health for granted, and wounds may make themselves felt through an inner sense that we lack empowerment, even when we don’t.

The 1st sees the social order or the facts messing with our values; the challenge is to sort through the messages to judge their validity. How? The yardstick must be this question: what illuminates? If what’s communicated shines a genuinely informative light, then you know it’s true–and so must be accepted and acted on–all else can be dismissed.

The 2nd Jupiter moves into Capricorn. The Greater Benefic charges into the new sign and doesn’t slow until very late, after hitting 27 degrees plus and then retrograding, in mid-May 2020. That gives us a long run forward through a sign that requires Self-discipline in order to access opportunity, the facts, or to gain a wider experience. Expect circumstances that mean we have to learn or teach, we have to face the boundaries of ‘what is’ before expanding into new territory, we have to acknowledge the positives in stability, restraint, and sober reflection. Not scintillating, unless you’ve been waiting for your natural inclination to hard work or disciplined effort to bring reward–in which case you’ll be very pleased, indeed, during this period.

Today efforts aimed at the future bring Love or Money developed in the past–that is, our energy output today simply opens the way for positives or profit from yesterday to flow in. Our attention is drawn to what’s smart or practical; seeing how this can shape tomorrow is important, as is understanding the power of words and thoughts in creating change or transforming what we’re less than happy with.

The 29th is a Good Day To . . .  be aware that words take solid form today, manifesting in real-world consequences or creating limits, restrictions, or walls to scale. People speak of their limits–and they’re speaking of themselves, no matter what or whom they believe they’re talking about–and agreements, promises, and ideas communicated take on a permanence we might not intend–so share with care.

‘The Fog Horn’ By Winslow Homer 1883 {{PD}}

The 27th is a Good Day To . . . get a gander at Neptune as it stations direct at 15 Pisces 55, as it does so while sextiling Vesta, while Vesta is opposed by Mercury (with Mercury’s trine to Neptune perfecting tomorrow, the 28th). Direction may dispel some of the murk around our priorities and those things we honor, and the fog should lift for the individual around at least some of the matters of the natal House where the direction occurs. No longer will we wonder if we’re doing the ‘right’ thing–though this might not coalesce into coherent thoughts immediately, or be communicated to or from others as soon as it’s realized–and by the 28th we either immerse our thinking in a universe of creative imagination, or we are mired in (or fed a load of) delusion, misdirection, or outright lies. It might not be easy to tell the difference, at first, but if we become still and listen, we’ll know. It’s only when there’s too much psychic noise that we are prone to accept what we’d do better to reject.

The 28th also sees Moon, Venus, and Ceres pile up early in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus. This expresses the heart of the day, offering a down-to-Earth concoction of sensitivity, Love, companionship, and expression of personal authority, delivered in surprising (and maybe strikingly sentimental) ways. Modern comforts celebrate traditions–what better indicator for a lovely Thanksgiving Day (in the US)? Be aware, though, that the unexpected is likely to spring directly from what’s been enraging us and denied, or from what we’ve been trying to ignore–so if possible clear up those neglected feelings and reactions before any significant gathering or interaction. And one other warning: words hold a lot of creative power today, and can stimulate the imagination, so take care that those words don’t go too far, or muddy otherwise clear, positive emotional waters (Mercury sesq Chiron).

The 26th is a Good Day To . . . ask ourselves, just how strict, how restrained, how cautious, must we be in order to gain, to respect our values, to stay or get healthy? We must measure our empowerment options against the true power they offer, and must judge them based on what we know to be wise or practical. Do our choices respect our skills and encourage their use? Do they offer some chance of healing or care that keeps body and soul together? These are the questions we should answer today.

The 25th is a Good Day To . . . stand ready to handle things that have big consequences. The surprise may be our discovery in real-world terms of who holds the power; we may be shocked, and yet easily adapt to any revelations or shifts in responsibility. It’s like a giant floodlight suddenly comes on, revealing the reality situation, warts and all. Taking a disciplined and practical approach to things as they are (once we’ve regained our balance!) proves to be productive and beneficial. Rewards come in tidy packages, or in restraint, and relationships require modesty or a statement of ‘being there when needed’. We get to the end of the day with a considerably different view of our world or our place in it. Just be ready.

‘The Sleeping Beauty’ By John Collier 1921 {{PD}}

The 24th is a Good Day To . . . look closely at two major aspects that perfect today: Venus conjoins Jupiter late in Sagittarius, and Mars in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus. With the former, we see abundant reward or massive disappointment due to exaggeration of expectations, centered on potentials for social advancement, travel (with emphasis on ‘new horizons’), and knowledge acquisition. Relationship dynamics may be out-sized and imply things are better, or worse, than they actually are, and we may be inclined to over-pay, in one form or another, for what we receive. The belief in Love may ground us, or move us to action, and may ‘come to the rescue’, especially in circumstances where we feel alienated or suffer too much emphasis on philosophy or fulfillment of an agenda in relationships or in creating Art in any form. We get ‘a lot’, somehow, and must deal with it, with the meeting relating directly to the matters of the House in the natal chart where it occurs.

The opposition offers an element of surprise, either at your own choices or actions or those of others. The spontaneity is driven by material/ sensory matters or issues of comfort, security, or need, but the moves spring from a dark place, or one where motives are hidden even from ourselves, and what’s behind those choices and actions may remain a mystery, no matter how hard we look. Circumstances to these events may have roots in or bring about the situation of abundance (and remember, this is just ‘a lot’, so may not be especially desirable!) or may muster conflict from the situation of ‘too much’. Beauty meets ‘the facts’ or a sense of optimism, perhaps with actions exposing the dark and surprising underbelly of things–or maybe it’s a search for Truth that generates chaos, a Higher Understanding, or a revelation that brings an opportunity for prosperity, Love, or profit. There are a million possible permutations–what’s important is our awareness that these factors are related in a way where each will affect, and possibly bounce off of or alter, the others.
