Just before 7 AM PDT the Leo Moon quincunxes Pallas, bringing the emotions a small shock from the inner wisdom. What’s wrong? Only that we are too Self-absorbed to notice that what’s wise requires our modification and adjustment. So do it.

5 PM PDT the Moon squares Sedna, and by 7 the Moon is quincunx Mercury; we don’t know how we feel, but we insist on telling everyone! We are irritated, spurred to speak, and yet don’t really know how we feel. Oy. Can signal lots of trouble, if we let our mouths run.

Just before noon Pacific time the Leo Moon semi-sextiles Mars and squares Sedna, suggesting we will not be aware of our aggression–an ability to pretend we don’t have any angry or defensive or offensive energies is ours, and that means we are likely to attack and at the very least believe we aren’t doing so! There is the chance we are conscious of those aggressive urges but that for one reason or another we pretend we do not see them. Think carefully about what it is to pretend to harmlessness when we are to some extent aware that we are not.

5 PM PST the Moon squares Juno; this only puts the empowerment needs in conflict with the emotional ones, and may result in some crying jags, resentful acquiescence to others, accusations of strong-arming, and other examples of out-of-control emotions and fear that we will be helpless or at the mercy of others. We win, not in a Charlie Sheen way, but in an honest-to-gosh-that-was-worth-it way, if we can realize that the sense of helplessness is truly an illusion–that’s really all it takes, a little confidence in the Leonine Self-reliance and surety, and a wee roar to let others know who’s boss of us.

Just after 3 PM PST the Leo Moon trines the North Node, with h.Zeus at the midpoint; is that a destined ambition calling, something we need to pursue to even hope for emotional fulfillment? Yes it is; whether we succeed or not, the expression of and pursuit of this ambition or desire is vital. Howl at the Moon!

Void begins at 4:53 AM PST; Moon enters Leo at 8:17 AM PST. The emotional Self roars, intent on expressing the individuality (trine Uranus)–but will this be an expression of the primal wounded Self, or of the healing to the wounds that has occurred? (quincunx to Chiron). We may not be able to consciously choose, as the ego/ identity will feel it’s need to roar outweighs any other consideration in the moment–and maybe it does, as we take a Leonine s-t-r-e-t-c-h after too much attention to others, too much caring (not that that’s bad, just that it’s draining if we don’t balance with attention to our own needs).
