Void begins at 8:28 AM PDT, with the Moon entering Virgo at 12:33 PM PDT. As always, first things we must deal with these days are Neptune (opposed) and Jupiter (trine), and both are fresh and a little chappy, like a newborn’s behind–no matter how we try to soothe them, to ease into the energies, we’re likely to find them just a touch fussy. The Virgo Moon may want to apply her well-developed (like muscles!!) critical faculties to imaginative ventures, creative projects, or in assessing ideals–and that just won’t go over well with a Neptune that wants only to be immersed in his own nebulous, creative, but detached-from-reality viewpoint. Neptune in Pisces insists on being embraced in an All-is-One, no boundaries way, and the Virgo Moon finds that, well, maybe a little frightening; the Moon needs at this time to take an accounting, to know exactly where she stands–and Neptune will allow none of it.
As to Jupiter, this aspect suggests that the drama between the Moon and Neptune will pour out right into the social sphere–get it? Pour, sphere? Like a huge fishbowl, we’ll find our creative conflicts and the space between our needs and our ideals on display in our typical social arena. That’s no fun, but the social sphere will be more sympathetic to the Virgoan needs than we might at first think, and that means we need not suffer embarrassment or feel that we’ll be seen as low on Neptune (dull and lacking creativity)–there will be an understanding that pinning down the material particulars is necessary–in fact, many may find an acknowledgment that we can’t be creative without them.
