‘The Queen in Hamlet’ By Edwin Austin Abbey 1894 {{PD}}
Today the status we hold, the roles we play, those domains under our undisputed control, define us. This may seem unfairly limiting, but in reality is meant to focus our regard on those things that are truly ours to affect–and that in turn is meant to make us more effective in what we choose to do. The bad thing is we’ll be highly aware of our wounds, of the ways in which we lack or feel we’ve failed, which may prompt a sensitive pull back–but the good news is we can transform these circumstances, via our ideals, our creative responses, and our imaginations. We make the day what it is, by creating what we focus on. Visualize it, and it can be (Neptune nov Juno, Merc opp Pluto, Sun sq Chiron).

Today’s word image is a bright but relatively deep shade of blue–let’s call it ‘summer blue’. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, this is an expression of the current season, and meant to alert you to current circumstances or to something that needs consideration/ more attention in your world. If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, this image/ color arrives in the depths of winter, to remind you that what’s dormant now will eventually spring back to life.
As always, very useful!
To be or not to be empowered, that is the question…
Juno’s transit in Aries will soon end, and it has shown me that courage and assertiveness are necessary when sharing resources with others (in n 8) to be able to enter new territory with them instead of relying on roles one had in the past (Aries SN).
Not easy, but it has taught me that if both parties respect each other’s autonomy and freedom, things become workable; then new contracts, new ways of relating and establishing our status become possible.
