10 AM PST the Pisces Moon trines Juno and sextiles Sedna; we can’t see the way to our own empowerment, and at this time we either feel the truth of this, or intuit it–and this perception allows us to wisely step back and not press our point. Others may feel the compulsive press of the opposition between Sedna and Juno, and be prompted to do something; we will know better.

10 PM PST the Moon quincunxes Saturn and semi-sextiles Neptune; we may be encouraged by our own delusions or fantasies to ignore what must be done to accommodate reality–don’t! Void begins at 10:20 PM PST–this is with the Moon pulling out of exact to Saturn–though neither of these aspects would count with traditional methods of determining Voids–that would happen with the early hours Mars opposition, instead :)

5 AM Pacific time the Pisces Moon sextiles the Pluto/ Sun conjunction; this is a day for a psychic sunburn, as we see stark illumination of Life/Death matters, and their emotional implications for us. Hugely enlightening, and quite possibly a little frightening. Wherever the Sun/ Pluto (7 Capricorn) conjunction occurs for you is the likely arena for some serious, and seriously interesting, revelation. Can be a ‘new lease on life’ in some important, House-related way, and may change us, or our course in life, in a significant way–a ‘can’t un-see it’ reaction. May also bring about the kind of deadly serious life transformation spurred by the threat of death or loss; a perfect example is the individual who fears (or actually experiences) a heart attack, and so completely overhauls the diet and lifestyle. If this conjunction is placed at a point where the perception is likely to be an unconscious one (in the 12th, for instance, or possibly opposite the House ruled by the Moon, or in aspect to the natal Moon, Pluto, or ruler of the 12th) then you may not be aware of the changes until your reality alters to reflect them.

11:30 AM PST the Aquarian Moon conjuncts Neptune and trines Saturn. It’s a ‘big moment’ for creative energies–they are manifested with unusual ease, from High Concept (Aquarius) to solid form, aesthetically pleasing and perhaps necessitating the help of a partner (Libra). We can gain immense, I really mean immense, emotional satisfaction at taking this creative opportunity and using it to make one of our most refined ideas a reality. Good luck!

Void begins at 1:32 PM PST; this can lead us into unanticipated creative territory, or can take the wind right out from beneath our imaginative wings–no way to know in advance, though if we’re on a roll and lose momentum, it can pitch us into a stasis that will be exceptionally difficult to pull that particular project from. Moon enters Aquarius at 9:14 AM PST. A sextile to Uranus and a square to Jupiter are how we kick off the Luna in Aquarius period–and it likely brings forth a strong urge to show the uniqueness that just rubs the social sphere the wrong way. The tension level rests on the seriousness of the insistence on showing individuality–the more co-operative attitude you can muster, the more it will ease the interactions on the social front.

Just after 4 PM PST the Moon quincunxes Earth; we may have some emotional adjustment to make related to our material situation. Considering the signs involved (Cancer and Aquarius) it may be a matter of weighing our intellectual perceptions vs. our feelings, and finding some common ground between them on which our emotional perceptions may rest.

5:30 PM PST the Moon conjuncts Pluto; how will this strike us after the energy of the New Moon? I spoke in the newsletter of the painful stretch we may be asked to make, and how our own propensity to protect ourselves will come forward, as for each of us the inner world may hold more vividness than the outer; this may result in this Lunar/ Pluto contact making for a point when the scar falls (is yanked!) off, the secret makes its appearance in our reality, the emotional framework dissolves, everything changes, we gain the power, or give the power of our emotions to someone else. Can be a crucial part of our realization of the New Moon meaning.

The Sun/ Earth axis has slipped into 29 degrees, straining everything. Putting our psychic feet up and taking it easy is what we should do–but will the Lunar influences allow it?

10 AM PST the Scorpio Moon conjuncts Juno–all that strain and maneuvering has made us feel empowered–so it gave us that, but be aware that this could simply be a defense mechanism–we tell ourselves we have power, so that we feel safe. Can lead to overstepping our boundaries or our abilities, with negative results.

3 PM PST the Moon trines Ceres and opposes Sedna; now we’ve got some genuine power or authority, but we may not realize it! We become vulnerable in a whole new way, as we are unable to identify predators, or our own true reach or strength. *sigh*

9:30 PM PST the Sun enters Capricorn, the Earth enters Cancer. Ow.

Today Venus spans the area from 29 Capricorn to entry into her new home in Aquarius, and she’s crabby. Why do I disparage our lady of love? Only because, though she can really warm up to the Cappy forms of expression, once she reaches the 29th degree, she’s one way or another feeling the stresses and restrictions of having to pour herself into a mold that she’s naturally (by square from her home in Libra) at odds with (though you may note, she comes at Cappy in trine from Taurus–and that gives us a clue as to how to handle this). Uniting the emotional perceptions with a soothing Taurean indulgence will calm the nerves and help ease our lady into her new home of Aquarius (maybe reading a little poetry, pulling the best of Taurus and Aquarius together in one form).

11:30 AM PST the Libra Moon moves into quincunx with Ceres, and in effect creates a Finger of God with Sedna as the other portion of the base (Ceres sextile Sedna). This says that emotional or intuitive reactions may spring from a ‘forgetting’–sounds dramatic, I know, but it is in essence an inability to remember our own inherent authority, territory, connection to Mother Nature, or any combination of these. This can leave us vulnerable to those who might prey on us as we innocently hand over our power. Be aware, and trust the emotions to give you an honest read on partnership or interaction matters.
