Gemini, Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary

By 8 PM PDT the Gemini Moon at mid-sign squares Jupiter (the US vote for health care reform, conflict out in the open, social change) kicks off our Moon reporting period; at a personal level this makes for a desire to make social contact, or create a social encounter, even though not everyone will be receptive to overtures. Midnight comes and the Moon quincunxes the North Node, and emotions and intuitions adjust to the life direction–it becomes a re-orientation to the real, a ‘back to everyday life’ time after the social outreach of the Jupiter contact–and we head into Monday, and our week begins.

And what are we faced with by 2 AM PDT? The Moon’s sextile to Venus, bringing our attention gently but firmly to relationships, talents, and or finances–it’s a moment when we must see our position clearly, in order to respond appropriately–over- or underestimation will cause us to respond (as response is the key with the talking, communicating, networking, conversing Gemini Moon) in a way that sabotages what can be a leap forward in fortune or relationship. 9 AM brings a sextile to Vesta, reminding us to align our actions and emotional perceptions with our most important values.

4 PM PDT and the Moon squares Uranus, and we have a choice: we can feel emotional upheaval internally, focused on thwarted expression of our individuality, or we can send that emotional laser into the group and train our discontent there. In either case we’ll have some gripes; how we handle them will likely involve some talk–just make sure yours is productive and not used as a weapon (with Mercury now in Aries the temptation may be to sharpen the tongue and use it as a sword! Emotionally satisfying but it’ll leave havoc in its wake, so better not).

By 6 PM PDT we have a trine to Neptune followed an hour later by one to Chiron. This brings the emotions into harmony, but with what? For some the ideals will inspire and skills will quickly follow; for others delusion beckons and hurt is its inevitable companion. So, this is how you’ll know whether you’re effectively following the ideals: if it hurts, it’s not an ideal, but an illusion, where you may be telling yourself a less-than-truthful version of what’s going on. Course correct, as you can accomplish modifications easily now.

8:41 PM PDT on the 22nd the Moon enters the Void, encouraging us to relax and perhaps meditate (in whatever form we like) on the Moon’s trip through Gemini. It likely left us with a few exchanges or conversations to consider, and we may need to wait until the Moon enters Cancer (11:15 PM PDT) before we see the implications of the previous Moon period.

Health Care Reform, the Magazine, trends

Just popping in to catch up, since lately I’ve been ultra-busy (but who hasn’t?) between visitors and clients, so that I wasn’t able to be part of the big Blog-A-Thon. Great articles will be showing up all over the internet on how to handle the Cardinal T–my blog list should lead you to most if not all of the participants, or check over at ‘Thon central, Donna Cunningham’s Sky Writer http://skywriter.wordpress.com/ Here’s my Saturn/ Pluto view from a while ago https://juliedemboski.wordpress.com/2009/11/02/the-saturn-pluto-square/

The weather’s been perfect (though a little chill) and it lures me out–the night sky has been clear and the stars easily visible, even this close to city lights. I have big garden plans this year, and right now am starting seed indoors, and tending the winter vegetables already planted–and we had a salad from the garden last night! thanks to the mild weather all season. So, that concludes the farm report 🙂

The rest of my time goes toward preparing the Juno book and the Spring issue of ‘Eclipse’  Right now pieces planned for the next issue include an article on Ceres, and a pair of articles on the Sun as identity/ Earth as Material Purpose, more small and amusing bits, and . . . what would you like to read? Let me know what might be of interest–and if you bought the last issue, or are planning on purchasing one in the future, would you like the three-month forecasts to be a regular feature of the magazine?

Will the US pass health care reform, the vote now planned for Sunday the 21st? When I look at the transits for this day, what I see is somewhat contradictory, with the Sun at 1 Aries opposed Saturn at 1 Libra. We might jump to the conclusion that this could mean the whole thing will stall where it stands, with Self-interest and ‘me first’ illuminated, and a lack of willingness to partner solidly opposed with the old man in Libra (and Saturn may represent all those who are just plain scared of change–these typically are the same group that doesn’t know what’s in the bill!) The Moon in Gemini promises talk, but networking talk, not anything that might sway others philosophically–this is the kind of influence that won’t make anyone change camps but may pull fence-sitters into the ‘Aye’ camp, as they’re reminded of who their connections and supporters really are. The Sun will be trine Mars, bolstering the ease with which action can be taken–but in Leo, and we’re back to that concern with Self-interest–but mutual reception breaks the tie, so to speak, making the urge to action that much more appealing. Ceres squares the Sun from Capricorn–our connection to Mother Nature might be mega-practical, a ‘Who needs health care, we’re healthy!’ kind of vibe, a take your vitamins vibe, a close your eyes and hope nothing goes wrong vibe–not encouraging for the bill. Jupiter (society) is in the sign of the Collective (Pisces) and sextile Juno, suggesting that empowerment may be on the menu via society’s consciousness of what’s for the Collective good. Neptune and Chiron are just over one degree apart, perhaps allowing enough distance that those deluded about what really helps or hurts may get a clearer vision of the need for change: Mother Nature can’t do it all (Ceres conjunct Pluto). Vesta square Sedna casts a vote for the ‘Nays’ with an inability to see what’s sacred, and with generous orbs we can draw a Grand Trine from Jupiter to South Node to Pallas–and that bodes well for society learning from the past and accessing accumulated wisdom–but the kicker may be that Neptune is planet of latest degree, signalling that the good of the Collective will ultimately assert itself–and in my view, that says the bill will pass.

It’s not too late! Check out ‘Eclipse’ and get your forecast for the rest of March and for April, along with articles on Zeus, interceptions in the natal chart, and a look at two of history’s most famous and infamous sisters http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/eclipse-in-depth-astrology-for-the-21st-century/

Here’s wishing you all some of the great weather we’ve had here in Seattle, and a wonderful weekend! Today’s Link: And a reprise of Art in the name of the Blog-A-Thon! http://secretmoonart.blogspot.com/2010/03/astrology-day-blogathon-2010-cosmic-art.html

Aries, Fist of God, Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary, the Asteroid Zeus, the Magazine

North American West Coasters start the day with a pounding (everybody else takes it on the chin, too, it’s just not their morning eye-opener): a Fist of God with Ceres at 29 degrees square the Earth in Virgo and both sesquiquadrate Juno. The exact Venus/ Zeus opposition doesn’t help, and the Aries Moon makes us a wee bit pugnacious. What to do?

This will at least feed stressful feelings, especially unconscious ones (that 29 degree Ceres will chip away at our sense of authority over our own lives, and for those susceptible may make them feel that others are outright taking that Self-authority away); at worst it could suggest real-world confrontations over who’s in charge of what, the kind of fight that pulls out accounting and details (Virgo) in the quest to win the upper hand. If we keep in mind that empowerment (and by that I mean a personal sense that we are effective and have a say) is the need for everyone, then we may deal with flare-ups that much more effectively, as with some effort we’ll find ways for each party to feel they’re of some significance.

Earth and her Moon; thanks, NASA

The Venus/ Zeus clash will for some be the focus energy, and it could come in one of a number of forms: female v. male; the worth of things v. the want for things; assets v. Will (for instance, with gambling or shopping); beauty v. muscle; love v. lust; genuine love v. unmet Daddy needs; and so on (see more on Zeus in action in the mag here http://dogandsunflower.wordpress.com/eclipse-in-depth-astrology-for-the-21st-century/) Everyone will feel some disparity between what’s of value and what we want, and serving both becomes an impossible balancing act (and one the Zeus/ Will side likely wins, with the Moon in Aries) unless we remember two things: the Chiron/ Neptune quincunx to Earth, and the fact that Mars is at 00 Leo. If we can avoid making decisions out of hurt or delusion, and if we can know that our urge to action may be premature or not totally formed or informed (the 00 placement), then we may be willing to take our time–and that alone can bring things into clearer perspective, if we allow Venus the chance to move forward and reveal our desires and illuminate our assets without the pressure of Willfulness and want (Zeus). And the Merc/ Mars trine, with the Trickster at 29 degrees, makes us prone to shoot our mouths off, especially in anger; hold off the cuff assertions until the push to speak passes–even though you may see your thoughts as reflecting an ideal or the common good (Pisces) they won’t come off that way.

So what is it a good day for? Taking Self-responsibility. The Aries Moon squares the Nodal axis (10 AM PDT) and we should be extra-aware that what we do will affect our Path. By 10 PM PDT the Moon has moved into trine with Vesta, and a review of how well our choices have served our core values will be in order, with a quincunx to Pallas giving us the wisdom and guidance to course-correct. By 3:30 AM PDT on the 18th the Moon quincunxes Earth, asking for emotions to accomodate realities, and vice versa, and by 7 AM PDT we see the Moon trine Ceres (matters of authority are clear, a relief after yesterday! though intrusiveness could be a problem) with the Void beginning at 9:08 AM PDT. The Moon enters Taurus at 9:29 AM PDT.

Aries, astrology, Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary

Here we are, gliding along on New Moon energies, which feel a bit like drifting down a soft, padded tunnel; with the sharp Aries Moon in play, we may feel focused, but it’s more a matter of wearing blinders (or is it blinkers?)–we can’t help but be focused if our field of vision is limited. Maybe it’s the way Mercury and Neptune are semi-sextile today, gently blanketing our mental processes with that famous Neptunian fog (and it does come on little cat feet, Mr. Sandburg), so feline and stealthy we hardly notice (or care) that our world is, well, limited, no matter the subjects or scope of our attention.

'The White Sail' Alvin Langdon Coburn photo 1908 {{PD-Art}}

That’s not bad, though–we shouldn’t be in a hurry to re-connect too directly with things–instead it’s a time to take advantage of the lulls, allowing this rare New Moon time in which our minds, and especially our creative Selves, can meander and dream in a way that can have dynamic results. The Mars/ Saturn sextile awaits our use to manifest things in physical form, and with Ceres at 29 degrees, those of us planting with this NM will feel the need to get it done–she’ll enter Capricorn and we’ll see results that quickly, in the Northern hemisphere, so don’t delay.

But within just a couple of hours Merc moves on to a semi-sextile with Chiron, and our response is likely one of two possibilities: we’ll either answer the call with mobilized skills, or we’ll be inundated with fear based in memories of hurt. If you find yourself responding with the latter, do your best to remind yourself that you don’t have to repeat the past, you only have to learn from it–and move on. 9 AM PDT sees the Aries Moon square Pluto, making things feel dire, profound, or threatening–but again, don’t plunge into this, it’s just a passing feeling–let it wash through you and take a step back in order to observe your own reaction; you’ll be surprised what you’ll learn.

8 PM PDT through 1 AM of the 17th we see the Moon and Venus united in Aries; this happens in opposition to Zeus and semi-sextile to Juno, and simultaneous to (at the end of the period) Mercury’s square to Ceres, with both at 29 degrees. This suggests that, despite a strongly anima oriented peak, a kind of ‘I am woman, hear me roar,’ interlude, external energies just won’t let us celebrate our strength and emotional well-being; others seeking power over us (likely in the form of imposing the Will) will come forward, and their insistence can throw us off our game. Try to center yourself in matters of the House where the Moon and Venus will conjunct (at 12 degrees) and put your joy in living there, where it can really be felt, and even do some good.

15 March 2010 New Moon: Outbursts of Beauty and Grace

. . . and possibly some sharp words, disturbances to the home situation, and the chance you’ll begin the wisest course you’ve ever chosen. Not bad for a mid-month New Moon in Pisces that just as easily could’ve kicked off a period of feeling drugged out, confused, or steeped in illusion. This time, though, we’ve got influences that leave us attuned and sharp, at least to the degree we’re willing to adjust our approach to our own most sacred ideals (the Vesta aspect).

Dark of the Moon began early afternoon Pacific time on the 12th, ushering in a time for centered calm, withdrawal, retreat, meditation, and appreciation of our world. It’s a time to take a step back and receive what is around us–and if we don’t like what we are surrounded with, then our mandate is to change the environment to something that more closely reflects what we want to be, and to understand that what we are is what we’re seeing–change, improvement, or modification, rather than denial or anger, is the order for this period.

The New Moon arrives at 2:01 PM PDT on the 15th at 25 Pisces 10, and it makes a quincunx to Vesta in Leo, a trine to Pallas in Scorpio, and a conjunction to the exact meeting of Mercury and Uranus right next door (and this will be coming off the Superior Conjunction of Merc and the Sun on the 14th which likely brought illumination, a message, probably through a dream, fantasy or day dream, or through the realization of an ideal or goal (Pisces). This SC is a natural ending to which we must be receptive, rather than a typical Superior Conjunction that brings endings to things we’ve actively planned or worked for. The power of the Universe is displayed in the attractive quality of the energy; let it show you how it works.

Pisces, image courtesy of the wonderful 'Swivelchair' at http://vintageprintable.com/

But back to the New Moon! The quincunx to Vesta in Leo suggests this is a new beginning in terms of the ego/ identity and what it stands for; we have the chance to adjust ourselves to better fit what we find most sacred, and also the opposite, we have the chance to modify ideals so that they truly reflect who we are. The trine to Pallas promises that wisdom and guidance are ours, whether they have internal or external sources. And the conjunction to Mercury and Uranus says in no uncertain terms, the messages we need to start a fresh lunar cycle will be delivered, possibly with a shock, or through the group, in the natal House where the NM occurs, or in personal lunar matters or the House with Cancer on the cusp.

The Sabian for this New Moon is, ‘Watching the Very Thin Moon Crescent Appearing at Sunset, Different People Realize That the Time Has Come to Go Ahead With Their Different Projects’ http://www.cafeastrology.com/sabiansymbols_degreemeanings.html  This seems to be a way of expressing that new ideas, young concepts (the Thin Crescent Moon) that have just barely coalesced in the mind, are now beginning their creative life–they have leapt to the fore, from amongst a variety of possibilities, to receive the full energy and attention of their creators. This is the most fertile and energized point of creation, when the idea has caught hold of the mind and musters all the force of creative spirit, and the co-operation of the Universe, in order to be made manifest. We should expect outbursts of beauty and grace, if only within our own minds, and should approach with optimism and willingness whatever idea is seeded in us at this time.

Aquarius, astrology, Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary

2 AM PST on the 11th that tart of an Aquarian Moon (no disrespect meant, native Lunar Aquarians, it’s just that the Aquarius Moon favors the smart, the fashionable, the forward thinking, and that’s a recipe for cheeky!) trines Saturn in Libra, which gently but firmly puts the brakes on Aquarius’ party; it’s a great time, actually, to re-consider the emotional landscape, as it slows things (especially the mind) down just enough to allow pondering, without robbing us of any clarity of sight or acuity of thought.

The Moon moves on to sextile Arian Venus, exact just after 8 AM PST, and for West Coasters starts the day off swimmingly, at least if we are able to make a little effort to get the love out (or to let it in). For everyone else, it marks a pleasant point; time something meaningful for this aspect’s duration to get the most from its ability to deliver what we value.

By 4 PM PST the sassy Moon squares Juno in Taurus, and may run into trouble; emotions conflict with those interested in exerting power over us. We resist, and tantrums or intellectually-rooted arguments are possible, and this may be over possessions or assets (Taurus). At this point there’s a Grand Trine involving Pallas, the Sun/ Uranus, and the South Node, and this suggests wisdom gleaned from the past may serve us well in choosing which parts of the individuality to assert at this time.

We get a long spell to sort out our feelings, and by noon of the 12th the Moon forms a quincunx to the South Node; this indicates that, between the 4 PM aspect to Juno the previous day and noon of the next we are still dealing with personal power and empowerment issues, and the noon quincunx calls us to a final adjustment of attitudes driven by feeling. We may not deal with this actively, but we’ll notice the difference in our perceptions once the quincunx is over, the end result a mini-evolution in both mental and emotional viewpoint.

Capricorn, My Daily Astrology Diary, Vesta opposed Neptune

So is it just me, or has the past week been populated with a wide variety of, we’ll politely say, ‘characters,’ aggressively putting forward their own agendas and living in their own bubbles? The sane have gone quiet; though still communicating they’re just not out there, pounding the pavement, the way our more lively friends are. It seems to be a matter of attention seeking crossed with a desire to persuade others to do what they want. Maybe the hallmark is their sureness: they are sure you want what they’re selling, sure you’ll want to drop everything to do their bidding, sure that what they’re calling for, believing, or spreading around is ‘the Truth’–and yet another hallmark of this breed is that, though they’re asking for something, they aren’t waiting to find out if they’ll get it–instead they draw their own conclusions, and begin to spread those suppositions. And this group seems to have self-explanatory subsets elaborating on their incentive to contact: the provocateurs and the ‘poor lil’ ol’ mes.’

So am I the only one faced with this variety of encounters, or are you experiencing it, too? And, since I believe nothing is random (or truly without meaning) I must ask why this is part of my experience at this time. When we have experiences like this, it’s typically one of two things: either we’re acting out, expressing our single-minded, Self-absorbed crazy somewhere, and we need to recognize it, or we’re to learn how to handle this energy in others. This time, I think I’m safe in saying that for me, it’s about handling the energy in others–and what a ride it’s been.

It's seems there're angels coming out of the woodwork here

Where do we spot this trend astrologically? Maybe in the past week’s opposition of Vesta to Neptune, challenging us to choose: are we rooted in our most sacred values, or in our more transitory ideals, fantasies, or delusions? For part of the time, Neptune was planet of latest degree, suggesting it had a strong influence on the general atmosphere. Supplanted by Venus for a few days, we may have seen a surge of Venusian influences, expressions of real love, generosity, jealousy, covetousness, envy, and beauty–and now Chiron has passed Neptune and is the energy of the endgame, calling on all our skills, if we’re the responder, and stimulating all our wounds, if we’re the one acting out.

I think the Moon in Capricorn is the prevailing influence today, aspects it makes not being anything that feels (to me) terribly important, one way or the other. This suggests, especially when applied to the above described dilemmas, that maintaining firm boundaries, obeying established ‘rules,’ and being respectful are the best coping mechanisms and should be priorities.

Remember when I told about walking along the street and the pay phone rang, my own personal Matrix moment? Well it happened again yesterday, and I only have one question: who’s calling? (See the original here https://juliedemboski.wordpress.com/2009/09/03/alices-matrix-logos-the-upcoming-merc-retro-and-in-consultation/)

And have a great one! Need more on March influences? Curious about the (I think) wowza traits indicated by Zeus (it’s what I believe may be the male version of ‘The Devouring Parent’ a Father to Pluto’s Mother)? Love the questions of history? astrology, Capricorn, Cardinal T-square, My Daily Astrology Diary

10 AM and the Moon freshly minted in Capricorn quincunxes Mars retro at 00; we find ourselves assessing the material realities and looking for the best move to improve them, but with the action principle still reluctant to express we may do more mulling and planning than anything else–and that’s not so bad, as Cap makes us able to focus on reality to a strong degree, useful when we hope to make situations more suitable to our needs.

Thanks to http://karenswhimsy.com {{PD}}

11 AM PST and any suppression of the Venus functions we’ve been experiencing (and this can be anything from love or relationship issues, to financial or asset ones, to health matters involving lack of function, calcification, or blockages of the kidneys or blood sugar difficulties) is freed up (in a sense) by the Moon’s square to the opposition of Venus to Saturn. Emotions may react to the difficulties, and the results can run the spectrum from ineffective tantrum all the way to emotional revelation that brings us the reason for the upset; there is also the possibility of intuitive response without emotional trauma that offers either a material answer to what we’re experiencing or a purely intuitive understanding of the whys and wherefores of the situation. In any case, a chance for, at the least, release, and at the most, significant enlightenment.

6:30 PM PST brings the Moon into contact with Pluto, and plummets the emotions to the depths; this can be a massive downer, where suddenly our life circumstances seem heavy, as if they’re disintegrating, or oppressive to the point of death–but let’s not be dramatic (though certainly the Moon/ Pluto combo inclines us to be). This can also be the spur to real change to the life, and a real overhaul of the emotions, paving the way to clearing out emotional dross. This conjunction could also bring emotional light, reflecting and illuminating our darker side, or the secrets or machinations of others–and this is good, allowing us to contact reality and informing us in a way that is similar to arming us–once we know what we face, we can handle it.

There’s another Plutonian possibility here, one where this contact may allow us to change or reform the emotional outlook to our benefit, and empowerment can be ours if we’re willing to deal with Pluto first (Moon trine Juno in Taurus, 11 PM PST). By 7 AM PST on the 9th, the Moon sextiles Jupiter, and all that we learned and experienced on the 8th can be used/ presented, either to the social sphere or broadcast or taught in our particular arena.

5-6 March 2010: Rebelations

Kelly M. Beard, Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary, Sagittarius, Scorpio

We kick off my ‘jump in at the middle’ forecast with a present moment picture of the Moon opposed Sedna and conjunct Pallas, suggesting ultimate wisdom lies, at least for now, in honoring the emotions and following the impulses they suggest–just be sure that you aren’t confusing others things (thoughts of vengeance or wish-fulfillment scenarios) with the pure intention of clear emotion.

By 2 PM PST the Moon makes a T-square with the Vesta/ Neptune opposition, and trines Uranus, bringing an occassion where we must face and reconcile the opposing energies, which have been in place for a while but which we may have successfully ignored up ’til now. It’s a showdown between those things we honor and find sacred v. ideals as we live them, fantasies, dreams (as in hopes and what we wish to achieve), and delusions; the Moon comes along and via the emotions and intuitions forces a reconciliation of any discrepancies between the sacred and our Neptunian impulses. What comes forward can vary from emotionally tragic (as we realize nothing is as we thought it was) to finding that we are essentially manifesting our dreams and intentions, and honoring our most vital energies, to a startling degree. The trine to Uranus makes any revelations (my finger slipped as I typed, and at first the word was ‘rebelations’! which is precisely how for some this will manifest, as rebellion sweeps the scene and bestows a new level of knowledge and way of looking at things) sudden, immediate, and perhaps disorienting, and be prepared–this may all happen in front of the group.

At 4-6 PM PST the Moon squares Neptune more closely, and we may follow our revelations/ rebelations with the dawning of a new ideal (which for some will actually be a new delusion), and possibly with a new goal to aspire to. 6:30 PM the Scorpio Moon goes on to square Chiron, and draws our attention to the way those ‘old’ ideas or ideals may have hurt us, and could spur healing, or a re-assessment of our emotional state. By 7:30 the Moon is trining Venus–thank goodness, we’ll all need to be in soothing emotional waters after the day we’ve had–and we may find safe harbor in loving relationships, or may realize the profit we’ll enjoy from today’s Neptune-themed re-visioning. For a scant few, this Venus aspect will combine with the energies preceding it to bring a major financial ‘reveal’ that will bring us back to the reality of things, whether these are better or worse than we’ve been thinking.

Void begins at 8:32 PM PST, and Scorpio Moon in Void mode can bring a little transitory excitement through experimentation, secrets uncovered or shared (perhaps indiscriminately) and by adding a generally mysterious air to everything we do–just keep in mind that the Void carries an energy that can be either protective or disappointing (in that sense that ‘nothing will come’ of the act perpetrated) or that promises an ‘out-of’control’ feeling (in the sense that things born at this time won’t proceed as expected), so act with care (Mars at 00 and retro says action is dicey and maybe not as informed or conscious as we’d like, anyway, intimating that extra careful choices will make for the best time).

Moon enters Sagittarius at 11:36 PM PST, trining Mars and making us giddy with the urge to ‘reach out’ (West Coasters, no drunk dialing!) We sober up pretty quickly as the other party reaches back (Ceres sextile Neptune) and we are suddenly responsible for our fantasies. Being held accountable is a good thing, in the end, and one to keep in mind in making our choices in the first place–if we do we won’t go wrong.

By 10 AM PST on the 6th we’ve got an excellent sense of empowerment (Moon quincunx Juno, semi-square Pluto), though some will see this as a challenge or even a burden; for those few who’ve been waiting (and whining!) to have more say, embrace it! and don’t discount the possibilities and potentials just because some effort is called for on your part.

4 PM PST on the 6th the Sag Moon squares Mercury–another ‘best keep our mouths shut’ period–it only lasts a couple of hours, and a little vow of silence may allow us to sit back and observe interactions and energies that, if we jumped in and spouted off, we would definitely miss. By 8 PM the Moon squares Jupiter, and our attempts at expansion or interaction on the social scene just rub us the wrong way emotionally; as well we may be presented with intuited information that reveals the reasons behind our emotional perceptions. This is an excellent opportunity to trim the emotions to fit our own needs or the social milieu’s more appropriately.

11:30 PM on the 6th sees the Moon sextile Zeus–some will explore their own ambitions with this energy, while others will find it easy to impose their Will on others–try to ride it out by using the energy to examine goals and your effectiveness in working toward them. By 6:36 AM PDT (don’t forget the time change, for those affected!)–scratch that–it’s 5:36 AM PST, with time change next week– the Moon Ts with the Sun/ Earth axis, bringing emotional considerations of where we’re headed materially and spiritually–something of a natural worship and reflection time for those so inclined to accepting a Higher Power.

Moon, My Daily Astrology Diary

By 9 AM PST the Libra Moon quincunxes the exact Venus/ Uranus conjunction, and sextiles Vesta; the picture is one of having to adjust the emotional reaction to the surprising things we’re seeing–they’re pleasant, yes (or at least illustrative of a relationship, values, or financial situation) and supported by our own ultimate values–so then why does it seem so weird? By 10 AM the Moon is at the Vesta/ Ceres midpoint, and may give us a clue: what we’re really uncomfortable with is one of two things, that this shows authorities in an unanticipated light, or that we are really being asked to negotiate our values–in other words, to compromise what we find most important–and neither alternative sits well with us.

By 11:30 AM PST the Moon is sextile Ceres and trine Neptune, and this places Ceres as midpoint to the trine. Authorities or maternal figures may bring our fantasies or long held dreams to life; or, we could find ourselves trying to intuit our way through what is essentially the fantasy of another, as that person puts us in an untenable position: support my delusion, or betray me emotionally, is what they seem to be saying. By 1 PM the Moon trines Chiron, forming the last major aspect for the Libra transit, and what we have is emotions that are ready to dive in, either to heal completely, or to wallow in hurt. It’s not entirely our choice which will present itself, though the idea here is to shift to healing, no matter what our experience begins as.

Void begins at 1:33 PM PST; this offers us a long stretch when we should just relax into the flow–don’t fight it, or initiate anything right now, as it won’t come to anything, or won’t proceed as anticipated (but, a Void is the perfect time to mail your completed tax return, as it typically assures you of a quick refund with no audit or hang-ups). The Moon enters Scorpio at 6:11 PM PST. Immediately she squares Mars, and putting up our dukes over old grudges, aggressions, and war wounds could be our first reaction. Scorpio doesn’t leave us anywhere to hide, with our inclinations if we don’t start punching running toward the ‘hide our resentments and let them fester’ variety (Fester! Now there was a cheerful Addams). It’s almost impossible to detach when we’re up to our necks in Water, especially as by 1 AM on the 4th the Moon trines Mercury and opposes Juno. This suggests we’ll speak our mind to those in charge–but will it be ‘Truth to Power,’ or just a vengeful tantrum? Again, hard as it may be, try to stay mellow and go for some liquid soothing, something Water-attuned that may act as balm to jangled nerves. Otherwise, by 3 AM PST we see a sextile to Pluto and a continued trine to Mercury, and may shift from speaking up and resisting to speaking out with the intent to destroy. It’s all gone too far at this point–consider taking a vow of silence as the Moon goes Void, and continue indefinitely for the sake of both nerves and relationships.
