10:30 AM PDT the Moon conjuncts Neptune in the 29th degree of Aquarius. We are stressed! chiefly about how clearly we may or may not be perceiving matters. Those prone to illusion may dive right in; everyone else will go for varying types of reality checks or may recognize the potential for creative flow accessible to the intellect and use the energy in highly innovative ways. Void begins at 10:33 AM (remember there’s a window when this is in effect, so one can begin to work with the creative energy several hours before and after the aspect becomes exact, though during the Void we may get an unexpected result). The Moon enters Pisces at 12:27 PM Pacific time.

3 PM PDT the Moon trines the South Node, making us, in a way, emotionally tipsy. As always with the Moon in Aquarius, we believe we are rational even when we’re feeling, and SN in Gemini brings the mind repeatedly back to old conversations, associations, and links that have long been undone–and depending on how stridently we insist that we are reasoning purely, we will proportionately suffer a disturbance to the emotional equilibrium. If we can open ourselves to the unadulterated ups and downs of feeling, we can take an emotional journey without ever leaving the spot where we stand. Can inspire calls to people from the past, trips to dusty photo albums, and crying jags centered in hurt and regret from long ago. Soothe yourself by stepping outside (Air placements).

Moon enters Aquarius (2:42 AM PDT) kicking and screaming. Why, I’m not sure–let’s just call it a hunch, and those of you awake at this time can report in :) Maybe it’s the semi-sextile to Chiron that sneaks in about 6:30 AM PDT; we are trying to go all intellectual on things (Aquarius) and somehow emotions, especially hurts, come forward. Self-awareness is the key here.

Just before 2 PM PDT the Moon conjuncts Vesta, putting us in a noble frame of mind. This can put us on the trail of living our highest ideals in order to gain emotional fulfillment, and perhaps surprisingly, could make us intolerant, condescending, and vain, because any contact with others may invite us to judge and compare–and really, nobody can do “I’m devoted to a higher concept than you are” like Vesta! Those who fare best are those who hold respect for others and their own humility in high regard.

Just before 8 AM PDT the Moon trines Venus, inviting us to a lovely time–make sure this has a material component, as the aspect practically begs us to enjoy life! and we’ll need our strength for . . .

the Moon’s noonish Pacific time opposition to Mars. It really will be ‘High Noon’ for some of us, with a showdown where everyone flashes more than a little ego and aggression. Best preparation is to know very firmly where you stand, and what your rights are, and have a clear picture of the rules and regulations–this will keep you from accepting anything that’s not already written in stone. And if all else fails, Capricorn Moon says, Stonewall!

Moon squares Uranus, 1 AM PDT. Oh those Cardinals, emotion (Moon) and action-heavy, with an anarchic and rebellious spirit thrown into the pot as well! This could spell capital ‘T’ Trouble for some; for everyone else, we may see mild to very serious emotional upset. Conflict may center on showing how we have freedom, a ‘Nobody can tell me what to do!’ statement that, hey, look around, no one asked us to make! The thing is, we’ll be having the riot or rebellion in our own heads, more than anywhere else. Bar fights, stupid dares that we accept, and inebriated, spur-of-the-moment trips across the county line to get married are all possibilities.

10 AM PDT the Moons squares Ceres, and we are likely confronted with the demands of authority or nature. Answer carefully. At this same point the Moon trines Mercury, perhaps inclining us to share information (or just to gab!) much too easily. If we are required to exchange or collect information, it may go very smoothly, but we must be aware of how messages are sent even before we realize we’re telegraphing our thoughts. Another instance where being as aware as possible is best, and where reticence may serve better than openness.

It’s post 7 AM PDT before the Moon quincunxes Jupiter, making us feel the social scene is against us–whether they are or not is a whole other story :) Soon after (9 AM-ish Pacific) the Sag Moon squares the Sun/ Earth axis. Tension is a natural result; use it to get yourself moving–under a Sagittarius Moon, we must get going–and movement is the point, more even than having a goal!

1 PM PDT the Moon sextiles h.Zeus; we’ve been sailing along smoothly on good feeling–now we can put that to work for ambition or desire fulfillment. Follow the urge, as long as the emotions/ intuition says it’s okay–otherwise, pull back and let the ‘opportunity’ go by. 4 PM PDT sees the Moon sextile Saturn–and if we’ve followed our inclinations, we may have a very satisfying result at this point.

The Void begins at 12:42 PM PDT; the Moon enters Sagittarius at 2:03 PM PDT. Just past 5 PM PDT the Moon squares Chiron, priming us to feel hurt–or are we primed to heal some longstanding wound? Our choice probably aligns with our current feeling toward the Cosmos (Pisces) and our willingness to venture into ‘new’ emotional territory (Sagittarius).

2:30 AM PDT the Scorpio Moon trines the Earth in Pisces. We are very emotional, or very much in touch with sensation, with feeling, and we have an expectation of being able to make this feeling real in a physical form. This will bring forward interesting urges and may make us frustrated, as we try to realize the unseen in something that pleases our senses. Earth being in Pisces may, in fact, salt this urge now through the time of the Sun’s change into Libra, as the Piscean urge married to the symbol of the very ground upon which we sit asks us to attempt an almost (but not entirely!) impossible manifestation that connects the Cosmos with the world around us. Can be a huge spur to creative activity, and lots of fun, if we can go with it!

I have no idea why this happened, as I was also unsubscribed myself (I’m signed up as I like to see what lands in subscribers’ mailboxes!) Sorry for the inconvenience. jd

Update: the sign up doesn’t seem to be working at all. Again, sorry! Off to WordPress admin to complain bitterly about my free service being broken (not really–they’ll fix it soon–they always do!)

As 8:30 AM PDT approaches the Libra Moon squares Pallas; we may find ourselves emotionally resistant to wisdom–imagine that! Just parse out if your feeling comes from a true discord with outdated ‘words to live by’ or if you’re having a childish reaction.

10 AM PDT the Moon trines Neptune, making for easy creativity or confusion; Void begins 10:36 AM Pacific. Moon enters Scorpio at 11:48 AM PDT. Does our mood darken at this point, just a little? It probably does. This may be the point where we genuinely feel Jupiter’s retrograde kick in–and with the Moon in Water, it could be surprisingly emotional.
