Just a couple of notes on aspects perfecting today; the big show is with the eclipse, of course, which arrives here on the Western US coast on the 8th. Since we’re in the Dark of the Moon right now, we are more open to sensing than to reasoning–and we really feel like that in approach to a Total Solar Eclipse. While our eyes (and our sensitive ‘feelers’) are on the Moon, Vesta will quietly enter Taurus–and probably bring emphasis to the material needs and comforts, especially those related to the Lunar event, though Venus square Sedna may temporarily interfere with that emotional and intuitive signal, putting finances and relationships, for just a little while, beyond easy understanding (or at the very least, complicating our feelings toward them). We also see Juno trine Ceres, bringing balance to relationships between powerful or dynamic women, and also between our need for power and what we must do (or compromise) to obtain it; those aspects are all on the 7th.

By the 8th we’ll also have Vesta contra-parallel Zeus, which may tip our attention and efforts in the direction of honoring what’s really important to us, rather than toward pursuing goals; it may seem that relationships and causes to which we’re dedicated must be seen to first. We also see Saturn sextile Pallas, connecting the smart choice to what’s practical or wise–and possibly suggesting that we can learn what’s smart by observation of what is, of the rules, and/ or by noting what’s solid and dependable. And then there’s the eclipse.

Solar Eclipse 8 March 2016 5:54 PM Pacific Standard Time at 18 Pisces 55

In energy terms, eclipses wipe out what came before. They clean the slate and write a new energy equation on it, one that describes the general influence and tone of Sun (consciousness) and Moon (emotions) in interaction. This may build on what came before, or obliterate it—we can only know which for the individual by inspection of the eclipse impact in the natal chart—but in any case the pair of eclipses brings a shift in tone that extends through to the next eclipse set, in about six months. The New and Full events are always separated by two weeks, but not necessarily in that order. They shake-up and realign, and the change they bring can be subtle as a breeze, or shocking as an earthquake that drops the ground beneath our feet.

A New Moon eclipse brings a kind of ‘super-birth’, a brand new energy direction that sees the inception of many beginnings themed to the sign and aspects of the Lunar event; a Full Moon eclipse brings something to closure, again related to placement and aspects. Sometimes the Full Moon presents as a finish, a fait accompli, an ending or boundary past which we can go no further, or it shows us a culmination of events and their result; when the Full Moon is an eclipse, we add to this a sense of finality that may remove something or someone from ours lives for good. We must remember, too, that with a Full Moon, we may find the seeds of new beginnings, as when one thing ends it invariably leaves an empty energetic ‘space’, into which something new always, eventually, goes.

With a New or Full Moon we keep orbs as close as possible, simply because we want a crisp picture of Lunar effects. For a Solar Eclipse (a New Moon, the alignment of which finds Earth, Sun, and Moon along the same plane, with the Moon between the Earth and Sun) we allow a slightly more generous span; we respect the intensity the event generates, we feel our primal senses give a little ‘jump’ as the Moon moves between us and the Sun and blackens in relief against the Sun’s glowing corona, and through the experience are just a little more acutely aware of our connection to Nature. Even being able to explain the mechanism of the event doesn’t divest it of mystery. It makes sense, then, that we use bigger orbs for the aspects this impressive alignment forms.

The Pisces Solar Eclipse/ New Moon of 2016 conjoins Chiron (only one minute less than 2 degrees apart) and Ceres (with a gap of just over 3 degrees), and falls close to (off by only 42 minutes) exact opposition to Jupiter. Normally we don’t consider semi-sextiles unless they’re tight, but we have one today, to Uranus. The eclipse also sextiles Pluto, is widely trine Juno, and quincunxes Zeus, though the orb is too big to also include Zeus’ companion in Libra, Black Moon Lilith. We also see a T-square, with Saturn the arm to the opposition of the eclipse (Moon-Sun) to the combination of Earth conjoined Jupiter (and we might note that since the Earth is always precisely opposed the Sun, we wouldn’t be noting it here except for the involvement of Jupiter).

With the eclipse closely conjoined Chiron and Ceres we can expect a new state surrounding a wound (and this may involve healing or fresh wounding), associated especially with the primal wound our natal Chiron represents, or one keyed to our personal expression of power, talent, or authority, especially as it comes through a natural role, or through what we might describe as a gift (for instance, through being a parent, or as a man or woman at a biological/ social level, or in our role within the Arts or in whatever way we display our talents), and this may come about through material circumstances (Earth) created by the social order or their representative entities (Jupiter—religious or educational institutions, ‘foreign’ governments) and their judgments, or by current material facts (also Jupiter in the Earth sign Virgo).

This wound-related or power-related event may show us our socially or materially-imposed limits (the Saturn square) that will spur or create change (Pluto), which is ultimately empowering to us (Juno), though this empowerment requires adjustment to our goals, ambitions, and desires (Zeus)—this adjustment may require enhanced discipline or acquiescence to the rules (Saturn)—and the whole thing may come as something of a surprise (Uranus). What occurs likely springs spontaneously (Uranus) out of older circumstances (the Saturn T-square may even imply an age-old struggle of some kind) that point us in a new direction, either through an experience of hurt, or an experience of healing (both Chiron), and the way these reflect our personal power situation and natural authoritative roles (Ceres). The new start is empowering and possibly status-conferring, especially if we form a new partnership (Juno), and forces modification of our desires and ambitions (Zeus), as they will have to change (Pluto) to accommodate the new direction (the New Moon eclipse).

The Sabian for this eclipse is, ‘A Master Instructing His Disciple’. This suggests an inflow of information from which we may benefit, that matures us and makes us more adept in some area, specifically an area we are trying to master, than we were before. The ‘super-birth’ relates to applying our attention and effort to a discipline or body of knowledge, of being accepted into or initiated into a Knowledge Tradition that shares the accumulated experiences of all who walked the Path ahead of us. An example of what we are to become (‘A Master’) is before us; how then does this change our ambitions and goals? We receive, in one form or another, something akin to the wisdom of the Universe in the Solar Eclipse event, passed on by one who knows and shares this with us, and no matter what it appears to be on the surface, what happens or develops at this time will in the end be fortuitous for us, taking us a step farther along the Path, either enhancing our expertise or our personal development.

I don’t usually discuss things for an eclipse that aren’t directly triggered by that eclipse, but in this case I’ll make an exception, because many people may be feeling this gathering in Pisces and understandably mistaking it (that’s a Piscean specialty, after all) for a Lunar eclipse influence. At the time of the Lunar Eclipse, Ceres, Chiron, and the South Node will all sit within 24 minutes of each other at 21 degrees Pisces. This brings hurt, authority figures or one’s own personal authority, and the past together in such a way that a memory of, for instance, a past power struggle lost becomes, through the haze of imagination, a more significant (and possibly more injurious) event than it really was. That is, we may suddenly designate this a seminal event that seems to be the source of the Lunar eclipse effect, when it’s actually just a carry-over of the Solar (Pisces) Eclipse that preceded it—and we are doubly likely to do this if the struggle we have in mind was one within a partnership. The Pisces area of the natal chart will be sensitized by the Solar Eclipse, and like a tuning fork, this grouping of Ceres, Chiron, and South Node may continue to carry the reverberation long after our awareness of the eclipse would usually be relegated to background noise within the unconscious.

Lunar crater Daedalus. We know what happened to him, right? Stay away from the Sun, kids! {{PD}}

Fun facts: according to Space.com, “Since the moon formed about 4.5 billion years ago, it has been gradually moving away from Earth (by about 1.6 inches, or 4 centimeters per year). Right now the moon is at the perfect distance to appear in our sky exactly the same size as the sun, and therefore block it out.” And this: “Researchers say that when it formed, the moon was about 14,000 miles (22,530 kilometers) from Earth. It’s now more than 280,000 miles, or 450,000 kilometers away.” To answer the question, Will the Moon ever escape Earth’s orbit? we have this somewhat snarky explanation from Physics Forums: “. . . the moon will only move away from Earth until it reaches an orbital resonance when the length of the Earth’s day and the Moon’s month will be equal – that’s in about 50 billion years. In theory the moon could then move closer to Earth, but since they are both going to be consumed by the sun before that – it’s a bit academic.”

The Word image for this period through the eclipse is ‘Two individuals argue, not realizing they’re saying the same thing’. Sometimes we are so busy making our point that we don’t hear what’s coming at us. An eclipse can, in the same way, block our clear perceptions of something, most likely matters found in the House of the natal chart where it falls. Don’t react too strongly during this period, as in a very short time full light (and so our perceptions) will be restored.

Gustave Doré ‘Andromeda’ 1869 {{PD}}

Moment of meeting of the Sun and Moon occurs at 2:37 AM PDT of the 20th at 29 Pisces 27, with the eclipse officially beginning just a hair after. The New Moon makes a wide sextile to Ceres, and a square to Pallas, which fills in the base of a Fist of God, apex Jupiter, and also creates a T-square with the Sun-Moon/ Earth axis; a panoply of ancient gods are involved, each having a say in what is born at this time, each contact suggesting that what came before with that energy is eclipsed, wiped out, or superseded. The NM is a conception point, the placement of which (in the 29th degree) signals that a new beginning is coming at a point of supreme stress; things must reach maximum tension in order for the new beginning to form at all. That means that some who are able to avoid that point of nearly unbearable strain may not receive the kind of wipe-out and new start that those who almost drown (this is a Water event, after all) will; theirs may be much more subtle, with changes playing out over the six months between this event and the next Solar eclipse.

The change is gentle with Ceres, which represents our personal authority, power, territory, a somewhat maternal inclination to overstep boundaries, and our capacity to negotiate (which at least in part rests in our own confidence; someone frightened or powerless surrenders or attacks—someone personally empowered negotiates). We adjust our boundaries, perhaps re-assign territories or re-claim some of our own, and we may take a step back (or forward) concerning relationships where caretaking and responsibility lie at least somewhat in our sphere. Too, the presence of Ceres in the equation can suggest that Nature itself will exert an influence, whether through external circumstances (flood or fires, for instance) or internal ones (such as hormonal changes, diet, or illness/ imbalance), and that these will play into events.

The T that Pallas forms with the Sun-Moon/ Earth is naturally tense; it takes the stress of a Solar eclipse, ups the ante with the event forming at 29 degrees, and then challenges the entire event with a question: Is this wise? The ‘this’ refers to whatever previous guidelines we navigated by and the way the eclipse brings them into question, or even obliterates them, proving them unwise or currently untenable. Pallas is in Sagittarius, so may imply that new information, facts, or exposure to another way of being or doing turns our ‘wisdom world view’ on its head; there’s also the chance that Pallas refers to practical or skill-based options that change with the eclipse event. Acquisition of new knowledge or skills may make old ones obsolete or make something that was once practical no longer so.

Remember, Pallas is a Warrior by birth, so we may come out fighting at the suggestion that what we thought was wise really isn’t, anymore; being nothing so much as skilled means that Pallas, after the first aggressive response, will likely look to her skill set to handle what comes forward. Realizing that even wisdom can be conditional, or can change with circumstances, is important in dealing with the kind of curve-ball the T will throw at us.

Pallas is also part of the base of the Fist; the T and the Fist may address two different Pallas in Sag related matters or may speak of just one that has several facets. A Fist of God can be as harsh as it sounds—it can represent a hard situation or conflict (the base square) that results in the apex, and whether that’s a positive outcome or a further frustration is often up to us. In this case, with the eclipse itself square Pallas as the initiating tension, we will likely see a New Moon event that challenges our ideas of wisdom and practicality (much like with the T), but the difference will be that resolution of this particular upset will either offer us entré to a wider social circle, will bring acquisition of new knowledge, philosophy, or belief, or could offer opportunity—the problem being that this may be forced on us, and feel more like punishment than a positive!

Jupiter is of course the supreme god, at least as far as those who gather on Mt. Olympus are concerned. As significator of the Fist outcome, this may suggest we feel very much at the mercy of some larger entity, something like society, which seems to call all the shots. It’s vital to remember at this time that this is a perception only; we are still able to fashion our individual choices and responses independent of the social sphere, should we truly want to—but making that choice holds consequences that we must be prepared to accept, should we go our own way.

This is an excerpt from the Solar eclipse article in ECLIPSE. Of course, we’re in Dark of the Moon territory right now, with Luna still to contact (by conjunction) Vesta, Mercury, Neptune, and Chiron before the Solar event–and that may mean a lot of restless energy, whispers just below hearing, looking for a place to express. This can be a very creative time, for those open to manifesting the urge that usually remains quiet in the unconscious–it’s accessible now; it’s as if we’re able to see into the dark corners of the mind, sensing things, with no need for direct illumination–take a look, see what’s in there.

Dark of the Moon + the Sabian Symbol for the New Moon in Aquarius January 2015

Thanks to Jon Sullivan for contributing this image of San Juan Capistrano to the public domain.

We’ll be heading into the monthly Dark of the Moon period midway through this weekend; normally this is a time for introspection, contemplation, and being away from the world, in some sense. This allows for a kind of gestation that ‘births’ ideas, viewpoints, and experiences as the New Moon unfolds. We can’t always lock ourselves away, and the resulting dissonance between the need to go inward and the demands of the external can be jarring and leave us exhausted–so we look, wrongly, for relief with the return of the illuminated Moon. The New Moon renews only in the sense that it begins a cycle; it’s much more about re-emergence into a more active role in the world than it is about re-generation. Even though everything, including our own cells, is stimulated to grow under the pull of a New Moon, if we have not been allowed the needed rest period before hand . . . you see my point: without an adequate time of rest, the New Moon can stress, rather than refresh.

New Moon in Aquarius January 20th at 5:13 AM Pacific time at 00 Aquarius 08

Look to the matters of the House where the New Moon falls for the life area or subjects of the ‘birth’ within our reality picture. The Sabian is, ‘An Old Adobe Mission In California’. Being from California, I have been to many of these, and I love them, in spite of the uglier facets of what they once stood for—now they are only gardens and chapels, often oases of green in places that are crowded and topped over with concrete. The symbol echoes the repeating of the early Moon degree, with each mission just one in a chain strung up and down California—and this suggests that however these new beginnings (related to all the early degree New Moons of Fall and Winter) we have been seeing came about, even if the circumstances were ugly or inhumane, what they will become with time and personal growth are spots of mental or emotional respite (the Aquarian Moon), places that make a clear statement about what we should keep from the past, and what leave behind.

27 January Early afternoon Pacific time we enter Dark of the Moon territory; meditation and contemplation are always recommended for this period, and with the Moon moving through late Sag, Capricorn, and early Aquarius, quiet intellectual pursuits, acts or rituals of devotion, or modest, hands-on projects, preferably where you work alone, are also appropriate. Not all of us can tuck away until the New Moon, though, so we may find out in the world that ignoring what we know to be wise fosters real hurt, that those with power seem prone to casually use it, and that words for the present take on exaggerated importance—take care to say what you mean, and mean what you say. This DoM seems to be a gentle quagmire of poor decision making, should we wade in indiscriminately. Out and about, adopt a modest demeanor and a circumspect approach to all things, and you’ll reach the NM with no major scarring (Chiron opposed Pallas, Pluto sextile Juno, Mercury trine Vesta)

From the Lunar portion of the forecast for the 8th:

9 AM PST the Moon trines Jupiter, opening up the sinus-passages of the emotions; where we were ‘stuffed up’ yesterday we find wide open sensory spaces and a wide-ranging intuition–use it wisely. 2 PM PST the Moon squares Saturn, stopping short the emotional free ride with a reality check. Don’t react too strongly–no wall stands forever. 8:30 PM Pacific the Moon creates a Grand Trine with Vesta and hZeus. We balance our emotional perspective by giving equal weight to the highest values and the ambitions and desires. Neither can be left out of the equation, as both are necessary for our true happiness. This is a good recipe to follow at all times; the Moon’s contact just shows us how satisfying a balanced stance can be.

To see it all, subscribe! I’ll extend yesterday’s offer through the 8th, 2 extra free months with a 6 month sub, 1 extra free month with a 3 month sub, same for subscription to the Daily forecast–order now!

The Weekend Essence for 27-28 August 2011: ‘A Merry-Go-Round’

There must be a merry-go-round somewhere; in the meantime, enjoy the show. Lautrec 1887 {{PD-Art}}

The 27th

Just past 7 AM PDT the Moon sextiles h.Zeus, stirring up the emotions in service of the ambitions and desires–uh-oh–then just before 9 AM Pacific the Moon sextiles Saturn (with a following shove from semi-sextile Mars). This is a set of aspects that screams, “Look out! I’m going after what I want!” It’s a huge push to go for it, with all the accompanying potential of overlooking the details (discovered when the Moon hits Virgo) or running over others in the process (revealed when the Moon reaches Libra). I’m not saying don’t grab this wave of enthusiasm and ride it for all it’s worth–I’m just saying if and when you do, be as cognizant as possible of the positions and needs of others, as these may be quite tender, and easily crushed.

The 28th

The 28th we have the New Moon for August at 8:03 PM Pacific time at 5 Virgo 27. The NM is just 3 ½ degrees from Venus; she obviously whizzed past without a care for the Solar energy she’d been so close to just a week before. This suggests to me that we must widen our orb for this NM, or be left in the dust! So, the NM enjoys a conjunction to Venus, a trine to Pluto, an opposition to Chiron, and, best of all, forms a loosey-goosey apex to a Finger of God with base of Uranus/ Vesta. The picture here is complicated, which probably reflects the response we will have to this new energy point; this is the seed point, the birth, of something that may consist of information, news, or an idea that will offer access to a ‘harvest’ (the reward itself) or a methodology (that gives access to a reward or payoff), or consists of another Virgoan matter (such as service of one kind or another, a job or accounting, etc.) that offers a chance of reward.

The Sabian is apt, and describes perfectly the roundabout atmosphere that I anticipate we’ll experience: ‘A Merry-Go-Round.’ I don’t know that there’s anything more to add, except that the image does suggest some excitement, and a dizzying sense that could easily disorient us. Just keep in mind: New Moons are beginnings, and that means we may not see the oak before the acorn is planted, nurtured, and allowed to grow–in other words, don’t expect to see the end result at this point. That’s not to say that there isn’t some routing to be done, some cleaning and clearing and tidying up–Pluto is involved, after all–but the main thrust is compelling, somewhat out of our hands or our control, and mostly quite positive. So that’s good.

The Weekend Essence + Leo New Moon, 30-31 July 2011: Powerful Days

From the Visconti Tarot deck 15th century

6 AM PDT of the 30th sees the Moon trine Uranus and quincunx Chiron. It’s like we’ll get a kick in the pants–and whether it hurts or not is up to how we receive it! We can either let it hit us right in the primal wound (which will make us howl!) or we can let it hit us and use the momentum to propel ourselves forward and up–which won’t hurt at all–in fact it should revv up our unique skills. It’s a great influence, if we’re willing to go with it! Now, this is the start of a Finger of God, apex Moon, involving Chiron and Pluto as the base. Separate from other effects, the Finger offers, very simply, healing with a willingness to change, with resultant emotional and intuitive benefits. It’s no more complicated than that.

New Moon is at 11:39 AM Pacific at 7 Leo 15. The Leo New Moon reads as releasing subtle but powerful energies; it opposes Pallas (and Earth, of course), squares Jupiter, and quincunxes Pluto. There are other things close but outside the strict 2 degree orb–so we leave them alone.

The aspects suggest changes (possibly intense, traumatic, inevitable, sweeping, or arising from the destructive or the negative) challenge us to prove what we believe to be wise really is. It’s a giant reality check of a very personal nature; the upsets will require us to truly show who we are–and what’s more, there will be a public element to this. It’s very possible we will feel under a microscope at this time. We may be observed by the social circle, we may be tested by our students, readers, audience, our teachers, or those within our religious hierarchy, or we may be challenged to broadcast or publish our knowledge or wisdom and then to defend it. This may be a tempering of the Soul and the Soul’s Purpose–but will in many ways be more gentle than we might anticipate, and we should come out the other side (for this NM may just be the beginning of a long-term effect, rather than just a singular happening) much more sure of who we are and what we’re here to do (and consequently what we are also NOT here to do, courtesy of Pluto, who will help us eliminate and start again.)

Just after noon of the 31st, the Moon trines the North Node–and at about the same time the Moon also forms a loose Fist of God with a Moon/ Sedna square apex Pluto. The entire picture is one of unanticipatable material events (Sedna in Taurus) that have emotional results–and, contrary to the usual, we do not need to work out the square before Pluto is accessed–this time, it just happens. A Plutonian event can be anything that involves an exercise of power–just keep that in mind. It’s not necessarily a trauma, destructive act, or experience of rage–it could as easily be a transformative event that feels like a major blessing–so be ready for anything.

The Essence for 2 May 2011: Wag the Dog?

02 Monday May 2011

Posted by juliedemboski in current events in the sky, Dark of the Moon

My Daily Astrology Diary, Mystic Rectangle, The Astro Essence

This dog's name was Venus; how could I not use this pic? 19th c. Sir EH Landseer {{PD-Art}}

I must apologize; I’m way behind today, in part because I was up into the wee hours combing Seattle for my cell phone. We found it; it had fallen from my pocket at Benaroya Hall as we listened to writer David Sedaris read from his work (and it was a wonderful event, a little like going to church, as the love from the audience and from Mr. Sedaris was palpable–and it didn’t hurt that he was hilarious). The odd part was that I was carrying the phone in the pocket of my linen slacks; I was very much aware of the weight of the phone on my leg, and I’m a compulsive ‘checker,’ always making contact with the phone, my ticket, and whatever else I carry–so it was doubly odd that I thought I had the phone in my pocket for a full two hours past the time it had fallen out. In fact, I told everyone I remembered  feeling the weight of it as we left a pub late-night–but it was already gone.

I was left seriously questioning how I could’ve held such a delusion–and of course, I find t Neptune almost exactly trine my natal Mercury–it’s a wonder I can put two words together! Thank goodness gravity takes no thought 🙂 But that can’t be the whole answer, can it?

For me and you and everyone we know, we might find a hint as to this kind of influence actually being a mass effect right now, as t Neptune is semi-squared by t Mercury; the intellectual and thought-fabric (Merc) of the Collective (Neptune) is effected–are we being deluded about the death of Bin Laden, for example, as words of aggression against him, and his defeat (by the Warrior Mercury in Aries) are delivered under an obscuring influence, even one that could indicate illusion (Neptune), with the claim that he was quickly, quietly “buried at sea” (Neptune)? Just a thought, which I didn’t at first entertain–though my husband jumped right on the idea, remarking last night, “I hope this isn’t a Wag the Dog moment,” referring to a movie where a ‘war’ was produced/ manufactured for the camera for political gain. They wouldn’t do that, right? But if they did, what a perfect moment to choose! And that’s not even considering that we might have a few ‘Wag the Dog’ moments on a personal level, where we are convinced of something that just isn’t, whether from the deliberate efforts of others or our own acceptance of an illusion.

The Sun and Earth are now in exact T-square to Vesta, placing our highest values at odds to some extent with the reality situation, literally to the direction of the planet. And there is an interesting Mystic Rectangle formed (for the next 5 days or so) with the Sun/ Earth and the opposition between Ceres and Juno. This suggests nature, matters of empowerment and authority, whose territory is whose (both actual territory and the figurative purview that comes with authority), and status, are working in fluid concert with the world’s direction and attention at present. These, of course, will have both personal influences and wider ones, likely seen as ways the reality situation is affected by personal experiences of power jockeying and authorities staking out their claims. The fact that it’s a MR may suggest that this is one of those points where the power balance is shifting shifting and re-aligning–and doing so in a way that’s synchronized and ‘easy,’ so that we wake up to a significantly different world framework than we went to bed with.

And we are in the Dark of the Moon–so go easy 🙂

The new ECLIPSE newsletter has reached the point where the first round of renewals has come up–and I’m excited to say there’s been a tremendously positive number of re-ups–and this just started yesterday! Thank you to all! And if you’d like to, now’s a great time to get in on the action, as a new newsletter arrives tonight–use the ‘Add to Cart’ button at right!

Around 1 AM PDT the Moon conjuncts Venus–what can’t be repaired with a hug can be soothed by candy or a shiny penny. Venus can be quite literal at times, none more so than when in Pisces as she seeks to calm any agitation in sight. She encourages our emotions to zone out in whatever pleasure will give us ultimate calm–a moment of indulgence and escape encouraged.

6 AM PDT the Moon sextiles Pluto, and we can change it up if we need to; Pluto can purify the emotions and ‘clean’ the intuition–if you need to ‘sense’ something today, now’s the time. Dark of the Moon starts AM Pacific of the 31st–relax!

My Weekly Astro Diary

The week may feel a lot like this illustration from Aesop's Fable, 'The North Wind and The Sun' from the Guttenberg Project via Wikimedia Commons

Sun/ Earth axis forms a T-square with h.Zeus and Saturn over the coming five days or so (through the 8th) and this brings a continual state of tension that takes the very general form of a ‘Big Life Question’: Am I serving my Purpose adequately? We will be, consciously or not so, vetting and weighing our effectiveness in this regard at a Soul level–part of this will involve a restlessness with our surroundings, if they’re not conducive to the Purpose we have chosen. This may act as a backdrop stress behind more pressing and immediate matters, but the thread of pondering life direction and the appropriateness of what we’ve surrounded ourselves with will be there.
We see a loose Fist of God created right now (a loose Fist–is that one that’s not too serious, even lacksadaisical, about the beating administered?) The apex is Neptune/ Chiron, with a conflict base (the square) made of Earth on the one hand, and h.Zeus/ Saturn on the other. This suggests material and reality-based situations and circumstances tuned to the ambitions and desire nature, specifically where the material world conflicts with the requirements of fulfilling those ambitions and desires. Resolution is offered through imagination, ideals, altruistic or communal or spiritual energies employed through the use of the most unique individual skills. This Fist lasts for a few days, and offers a relatively prolonged period where we can focus on making what we truly want happen in our world by using our most elevated energies–a nice combination of the seen and unseen that can have major effects in our material surroundings, and that calls on us to use skills we can really be proud of.
Of course, there’s a Solar Eclipse in the early hours of the 4th PST–will post a small bit on that later–ECLIPSE Readers, see the full report on your Protected Pages, along with the daily detailed forecast–forgotten your password? It’s listed in the Table of Contents of the magazine–Thanks!
In case you don’t recall that particular fable, it was a contest between the Sun and the Wind to see who could make the traveler remove/ keep on his cloak–may be a lot like the aforementioned Fist. And remember, it’s Dark of the Moon–relax!
