Had to come out of my work cocoon to offer you this–it just seemed to be important:

19 June If this day were a Dr. Seuss book, it might be entitled, “Oh, The Stressful, Guessful, Very Mad, Over-Blown Things That Will Happen Today!”  Hurt over power and territorial issues is rampant, and we or others are likely to be angry and impatient with that hurt (egos in those who take a ‘stiff upper lip’ attitude may rise up and criticize those who openly show wounding), and criticism or gossip surrounds those who have the temerity to share and show their skills, while Money and Love are out-of-sorts with anything that isn’t grounded in the here-and-now, and everything, I mean everything, is exaggerated. Deception in relationship is a distinct possibility, and only some of the misleading material will come from others or be deliberate; we may confuse or mislead ourselves without realizing it, and others, too, may misinform quite innocently. The social sphere takes on added importance and may give us the skewed idea that things that are important to us that aren’t also ‘in fashion’ in some way are worthless–and of course, that’s not so. It’s the overwhelming perceptual bias for what’s loudest, strongest, or most persistent that distorts our idea of what’s acceptable, or what’s ‘right’–and we’d be smart to realize the atmosphere we find ourselves in is not a true reflection of reality. Grounding ourselves in purely material pursuits is the answer, especially creative or hands-on activities that allow us to narrow focus and shut that too-contentious world out. Those who go out on the social scene at this time do so at their own risk. (Chiron sesquiquadrate Ceres, Mars square Chiron, Venus sesquiquadrate Neptune, Sun conjunct Jupiter, Earth quincunx Ceres)

From the current ECLIPSE:

17 June pits power versus wisdom, might v. ingenuity, and thinking v. dreaming. We most likely will find ourselves choosing one side of the equation in each stand-off, though there will be some for whom the whole situation will be so fuzzy they won’t know what to make of it, and may just zone out; everyone else will have drawn that line in the sand, and have chosen on which side of it they stand. The adversarial stance seems and feels necessary to us, right now, but this is more our own attempt to ‘get clear’  with what we think and where we want to be than it is about facing off with or putting down anyone else. Knowing that Self-clarity is the goal may help us direct our energies in the most fruitful way possible, and will certainly help keep us from conflict. (Pluto quincunx Pallas, Mars sextile Uranus, Mercury sesquiquadrate Neptune)

I’m really swamped right now with work, between the 6 Month subscriber birthdays, the Vesta book, the Weekly articles, and every other thing–seems we’re having Merc retro problems already, as we hang in the shadow–so this will be the last daily post for a while. If you want the entire forecast every day, please subscribe (I don’t want your first born, just a small fee that works out to $5 or less per month), and have a great week!

‘The Card Players in an Interior’ by Jan Steen c1660 {{PD-Art}}

This is a sampling of the detailed hour-by-hour Lunar forecast (plus much more on the aspects) available in ECLIPSE Weekly for only $5 month–or for the same cost you can get the Daily Word, each day’s complete forecast sent ahead of time to your email–and if you can read email on your phone, you never have to be without!

Remember, Lunar aspects span at least 4 hours before exact, and around 4 hours after.

7 PM PDT of the 14th the Virgo Moon sextiles Saturn and opposes Neptune. This may be a very sensitive point, when intuiting something previously completely hidden about our reality picture can happen–and we may find ourselves vigorously denying it or rejecting what we’ve discovered. No matter what’s revealed, have the courage to see reality–it’s the only way to fly.

3 AM Pacific time of the 15th the Moon squares Pallas, and good sense flies out the window–take note. 5 AM PDT the Moon trines Pluto and squares Mars, making for easy emotional volatility and the kind of actions taken that ‘kill’ feelings (and so relationships) for good. Destruction is just too effortless a path to go down at this time, though if you’re looking to change something or remove something from your life, now’s the time; but, actions bring conflict, so laying low might be the behavior of choice. 8 AM PDT the Moon quincunxes Uranus, making for difficult-to-accept surprises, shocks, and intellectual assertions. Skepticism and/ or indignation might be the result in those truly shaken up. By 10 AM PDT the Moon opposes Chiron and it all hangs out: hurt, past nasties, criticism, nit-picking, and the chance that all concerned will split into ‘the rational’ (that’s their label) and ‘the dreamers’ (who name themselves as well). Bitterness is the result, as neither side understands (or cares to understand) the viewpoint of the other. Try to stay out of any between-group exchanges–those could get rough–with everything else, the best course might be to withhold active judgment and/ or to surround yourself with the like-minded, just for now. 2 PM PDT the Moon sextiles Venus, perhaps throwing us off our game with some sudden sweetness in life–just enjoy it. 10 PM PDT the Moon sextiles Mercury and quincunxes Juno; we may communicate with the goal of gaining our own empowerment, but almost inevitably, this may make others feel threatened. Be as non-assertive in your assertions as possible!

We’re looking at an interesting Finger of God right now, with base of Chiron-SN, apex hZeus. This suggests that past wounds may act to prevent realization of ambitions and desires at this time. Be as aware as possible of those ‘fingers from the past’ that may slip into the now, and hold us in place–knowing they’re there is the only way to be free of them.

16 June sees no new aspects come to exactitude; but of course, the Moon never rests. 1:30 AM PDT of the 16th the Moon sextiles Vesta, re-instilling our highest values through feeling and emotional perception. 9 AM PDT the Moon squares the Sun-Earth axis, bringing out emotional issues around life direction. This is a chance to see around what issues our emotional being is still having trouble with acceptance, or is signaling something we thought was okay is really unacceptable. There’s no easy way to tell the difference between the two, though for most the issue will be instantly recognizable. 1 PM PDT the Moon sextiles Ceres and squares Jupiter. This could manifest as taking the female/ anima/ or receptive side in some dispute, or we could find ourselves ‘taking our marbles and going home’, feeling that the social sphere is unsupportive. In any case, who holds what power will be the topic of the day, and someone is sure to have hurt feelings, when it’s all over. Void begins 2:27 PM Pacific time; the Moon enters Libra at 6:19 PM PDT.

13 June sees no new aspects formed, making the Lunar events stand out even more. 10 AM PDT of the 13th the Moon opposes Juno; we may resist that very thing or person who willingly empowers us–why? It’s likely the mistaken idea that we must achieve it on our own (Moon in Leo). 8 PM PDT the Moon squares Sedna and trines Earth. The world is our oyster–but we just don’t see that, as invisible problems nag and block us. An unfortunate period. 3 AM PDT the Moon sextiles Jupiter; expect a feeling of expansiveness, as if you can sense the whole world just by feeling. Void begins at 4:16 AM PDT; the Moon enters Virgo at 9:26 AM PDT of the 14th.

A little Lunar something from ECLIPSE for today, the 11th:

Noon Pacific time the Cancer Moon conjuncts Ceres; brace for an emotional encounter with Mother Nature, an infusion of personal power, authority, or maternal feeling, or an intuitive clarity in how to proceed in negotiation. Void begins 12:47 PM PDT of the 11th; the Moon enters Leo at 9:58 PM PDT.

And the aspect outlook for the 12th:

12 June You’ll notice that Venus’ foray to complete a T-square with Pluto-Uranus is not exact; she hits one, then she hits the other, which is understandable–but I’m guessing that it’s only when she has hit the body in higher zodiacal longitude that the whole picture of the T falls together. The dynamic may be this: being ourselves doesn’t pay, but neither does releasing personal standards and grabbing for bald power. We may be left with an unsolvable dilemma: money and especially Love do not seem compatible with our power needs or expressions, and yet, being more inventive, innovative, original, and stretching the intellect also fails to mesh with our relationship or financial needs. And this is part of the point: we feel that we need that income, or that love, so that simply sitting back and refusing to engage in the power plays and attempts to outwit what’s holding us back is not an option. The answer is cryptic, but full of possibility: information or a message, either from the past, or from the future, will tell us what we need to know. (Venus square Uranus, Mercury trine the North Node)

Gemini New Moon 8 June 2013: ‘A Grown-Up Reality’

Trompe l’oeil by Gijsbrechts {{PD-Art}}

New Moon in Gemini is at 8:56:19 AM PDT at 18 Gemini 01

The New Moon trines Juno and widely sesquiquadrates Saturn, but makes no other significant aspects; this suggests the new beginning we see with a meeting of Moon and Sun is, at this time, fairly clear cut: the NM energy offers us personal empowerment in some significant way (probably in matters of the House where Juno now transits in the natal chart, or through the intellect, through venues of higher education, through invention and innovation, or through expression of originality–Juno in Aquarius) that requires adjustment of or modification to the reality in which we live–it’s that simple.

Rules or boundaries may need to change, and we may need to take more personal responsibility and show more personal authority, not relying on those who make the rules quite so much. In that way this NM fosters independence, and the freedom that comes from being both totally responsible for oneself, and being aware of this, and making decisions accordingly.

A very Neptunian idyll at the beach, by Rupert Bunny c1891, {{PD-Art}} in both the USA and country of origin, Australia

Neptune retrogrades at 1:25 AM Pacific time of the 7th; what can we expect? Neptune will have just risen on changing motion, hovering above the horizon, in a Grand Trine with Saturn and Venus, and square the Mars-Pallas conjunction. The Grand Trine is a Water one, and with the transiting Moon in Gemini and heading for conjunction with Mars-Pallas, the picture is one of emotional realization and (probably) manifestation of ideals, values, or the creative in relationships, or through earning capacity, either arising from previous or current intelligent action or choice, or prompting this in the immediate future. Whew! That’s a mouthful. What we’re likely to be looking at is a powerful and balanced situation of either realization through the feelings, or manifestations in the reality structure, of something related to our values or our creative activity, and we have either been smart about what we’ve done to get to this, or this will bring us to a smart future choice. This is likely to sneak up on us, coming across as a ‘given’, not really drawing much attention, and probably showing up via House matters where Neptune is now transiting, in the matters of the House Neptune rules in the natal chart, and/ or through anything transiting Neptune currently aspects in the natal chart. Satisfaction in some way is the likely outcome, though it may be tough getting there; initially we could react badly (or have rejected in the past) the very smart moves that are now presenting themselves as ‘the answer’–but it would be unwise to reject this out of some delusion of how things should be–in order to create what we want, we must acknowledge how things really are. Dreams, both the literal kind and those involving our goals, should be examined, because that’s where all the potentials have been showing up, of late. Use them as inspiration, as guidelines, and as a springboard to action.

Venus into Cancer: ‘A Shifting Emotional Palette’

Venus is leaving Gemini for Cancer, where she can really nurture relationships and projects that will bring in the dough, but where she also may be too emotional and too clingy to successfully interact in a way that respects others’ boundaries or prerogatives. Volatility may also be a problem, as is a too-quickly shifting emotional palette. Venus in Cancer needs something she can pour her nurturing energy into; find that and you’ll have a relatively smooth time elsewhere.

Just fill in the ‘message’ space on your order with your preference. Now what are you waiting for? And have a great weekend!

7 AM PDT of the 1st the Pisces Moon trines Ceres. The emotional perceptions and the intuition are powerfully informed through nature and attunement to the unseen. It’s the perfect time to ask yourself, “What should I do?” because the answer will be crystal clear and instantaneous–then the challenge becomes not to ignore it. 11 AM PDT the Moon sextiles Sedna, then squares Jupiter. We may feel lost, then find ourselves at the mercy of the social sphere–or, we delve deep within, and so incur the displeasure of the social circle, which wants our energy and attention. Either way we get a social spanking. Don’t judge yourself by the reaction you’re getting from others–it really isn’t related to you at all. 8 PM PDT the Moon squares Venus. It’s just not the time to socialize; no matter how smoothly things start, things will at some point get bumpy, uncomfortable, and/ or downright hostile. Focusing on what’s wrong in the relationship picture won’t get you anywhere, but this could be the right point to assess what you need to change about the earning situation, or in relationship to the Arts. Void begins at 9:31 PM PDT; the Moon enters Aries at 11:34 PM PDT.
