Dear Cancer, it looks like it’s been a tough year–material matters have exerted their power on you in a way you never expected–but you should know, that’s over now–or at least, waning. You’ve got to look deep within and make an accounting of your resources and talents during this Solar year, through to your next birthday, in preparation for forming a whole new set of ambitions and goals. Dear Cancer, it looks like this coming Solar year you’ll spend your time in power struggles over love or money (or the matters of the House in the natal chart with Scorpio on the cusp); that doesn’t sound very fun, does it? Let’s look at it another way: you’ll have the gumption, energy, passion, sense of mission, or desire to go after what you truly want–and you’ll do it no-holds-barred. That means it could get messy, you could step on others’ toes, and you could be in territory you’ve never been in before–but that’s okay. You’re claiming what the Soul longs for; remind yourself that just because someone else is upset doesn’t make what you want wrong–and as long as you don’t actually harm anyone in the process, it’s okay to want (and go after) what you want. You may find yourself very critical of your own motives–but the fact is this is a rare time when you are empowered to ask for and get what you desire from the Universe with very little difficulty–and if you make the effort, it’s almost certain at least one of your passions will be fulfilled.

Happy Birthday, dear Cancer! Will it be Love or Power for you? If it’s Love, it’s, as the old song goes, right here waiting for you; it seems you just need to turn your head, to communicate your interest, to smile, for gosh sakes, with that wonderful Cancer sense of joy (nobody does joy like Cancer!) for the connection to be made and the love story to begin. I know you don’t believe that–I can feel the skepticism from here–but it’s true: your love is already within reach. But if it’s Power you want, that is a way off; you’ll need to be in it for the long game, plotting out your moves far in advance–because it won’t be easy. Have you ever seen someone just roll over and give up their power? Me neither. So, in the case of gaining Power, you must look at the matters of your chart ruled by Scorpio, anything aspecting natal Pluto, and where Jupiter is transiting now to know from whence your opportunities will come and how to exploit them. Also look to where Black Moon Lilith is right now by House (13 Leo 25) to know what matters you need to face to get the ball rolling and get your first installment of pure Power. Dear Cancer, it looks like you’ll be making plans this coming Solar year to achieve your dream either money or relationship-wise, and you have an excellent chance of succeeding. Whatever it is you’ve been wanting to go forward with, you’ll be empowered to do so, with the caveat that to let your ego run the show would be a disaster–but to let yourself truly shine will bring you what you desire.
