‘The Lesson’ Renoir 1906 {{PD-Art}}

In the 26th of October at 7 AM Pacific time brings the Moon opposed Venus and trine Mercury. If you’re thinking of making a purchase, make it now, and if you’re contracting for something, paying as little as possible is on the current agenda. If, however, you are negotiating to be paid in some form, or are hoping your words will fall sweetly on a loved one’s ear, think again–you will likely not be paid what you’re worth (or what you could get elsewhere) and your loved one may not be feeling the love behind the message.

October 27th features the Sun trine Chiron and Mars sextile Zeus. It’s a day for healing, and this might either apply to the restoration of some dream or desire that had in the past been damaged and upon which we can now act (the dream itself healed) or that by pursuing our ambitions and desires we may find this a healing action. The suggestion is that there is something within our ambitions that can correct our own misperception about ourselves, whether that misperception comes from external or internal feedback.

On the 28th at 11:30 AM PDT the Moon hits the midpoint of Pallas-Sedna, suggesting that our emotions and ‘intuitions’ may right now just be expressions of Will (Moon in Aries) and so not at all trustworthy. We won’t recognize wisdom at this point if we fall in a bucket of it–so chill and wait a few hours, then take the emotional temperature again.

To see it all in detail, please subscribe to ECLIPSE!

Nagy, before 1937 {{PD}}

For Saturday the 13th:

Void begins at 11:48 AM PDT; the Moon enters Libra at 4:02 PM Pacific time on the 13th.

There’s an immediate quincunx of the Moon to Neptune, perhaps making us uneasy over the partner, or the level of cooperation we can expect; we’ll need to both adjust and let go of any fantasies we’re prone to in this regard.

A midnight opposition of the Moon to Uranus, a quincunx to Chiron, and a sextile to Mars may prompt us to project all our orneriness and our propensity to hurt ourselves or others ‘out there.’ Awareness that what we see outside us is really inside us has never been so appropriate.

And for Sunday the 14th:

About 1 PM Pacific the Moon finds the midpoint of Venus-Mercury. Whatever’s communicated/ thought concerning love or money may make us turn to the partner, or to an aesthetic outlet, in hopes of relieving some kind of tension. This could be good news–remember, that causes stress, too.

It’s all from ECLIPSE; subscribe now, and get detailed daily aspect and Lunar forecasts, and more!

Full Moon in Aries 29 September 2012: ‘Going One Step Further’

Take that next step, even if it’s a baby one!’First Steps, After Millet’ Van Gogh 1890 or before {{PD-Art}}

The Full Moon Arrives at 8:18 PM PDT on the 29th of September at 7 Aries 22

The Full Moon turns like a stagehand manning the Klieg lights and shines back on aspects already perfected in her travels. It’s like an echo made of light, drawing our attention back to matters we thought already dismissed. The Full Moon is of course conjunct Earth, still conjunct Uranus and square Pluto, and is also semi-sextile Chiron. This set-up pulls the mental and emotional concerns of earlier in the evening (Pacific time) into the material realm, and we are either injured by this, or we bring forward skills to deal with it successfully. The sense is of a culmination that requires us to go a step further with some conflict, confrontation, or innovation/ idea that recently came to a head. Things will not be complete until we have taken this last, physical step–and if we don’t we will likely injure our own creative sensibilities (Chiron in Pisces).

This is from the latest ECLIPSE; to see it all, please subscribe! I’m extending the offer of 2 FREE extra months added to any subscription through 1 October–so what are you waiting for?

Just a Little AstroEssence for Your Weekend 21-23 September 2012: ‘It All Feels a Little ‘Alice”

‘A Mad Tea Party’ One of a series of brilliant illustrations Arthur Rackham 1907 {{PD}}

The 21st of September is a rough day for successful communication: Mercury sesquiquadrates Sedna, suggesting that much of what’s communicated is done without any awareness of what’s truly shared, and the Sun-Earth axis creates a T-square with Ceres, making for an ongoing atmosphere of tension between those who believe they should hold power and command, and the material reality, ‘what is’.

On the 22nd:

Void begins at 11:07 AM PDT; the Moon enters Capricorn at 12:21 PM PDT.

Immediately the Moon creates a T-square with the Sun-Earth axis and sextiles Neptune. We could feel put on the spot, facing a bit of a crisis, and creativity, imagination, or some careful dissembling (not lying, exactly, more like diplomatically avoiding the hard-line Capricorn reality) may be the way out. Keep in mind that just because someone applies pressure, it doesn’t mean we are under some kind of obligation to respond to it.

And the 23rd promises:

The Sun in Libra wants to co-operate, to shine a light on what may be deceptive, hidden in fog, mysterious, illusive, imaginative, creative, dreamlike–and Neptune will have none of it, pulling his Piscean curtain of fog and mirrors and video installations and shimmery, shiny things even tighter. This may feel like, hard as we try to see the facts, the ‘Truth’, or how to assemble the creative alternative, we may be left with little concrete or understandable to grasp. It all may feel a little ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

For 15 September:

It’s in communications, and our own thought processes, where we may run into trouble. We may be over-focused on details, hyper-critical, or too concerned with accounting and/ or lists–and so miss the point entirely. We also may be highly resistant to taking suggestions from anyone, if we see them as holding some sort of authority over us. Falling into old ways of being and seeing are, as they say, easy as falling off a log. Try to remain astride yours. (Mercury square Ceres, trine SN).

And for the 16th:

Authorities and those who felt they had nature on their side may find that their path isn’t as clear as they thought (Ceres quincunx NN), and acting as an individual, or a leader, will definitely have social pitfalls (Mars quincunx Jupiter). Those who are willing, however, to think with others in mind (who are willing to give them equal weight to the Self) will gain both co-operation and empowerment through the social sphere. That’s really the magic formula for today, and is accessible if we can keep cynicism to a minimum (Mercury into Libra, sextile Juno, Juno into Sagittarius).

Just a Little Astro Essence on the Pisces Full Moon ‘A Spur to Accomplishment’

‘The Jockey’ Toulouse-Lautrec {{PD-Art}}

A little something on the Full Moon, from the new ECLIPSE:

The Full Moon in Pisces occurs at 6:57 AM Pacific time of the 31st at 8 Pisces 33. Along with the conjunction to Chiron, the sextile to Pluto, and the semi-sextile to Uranus, the Full Moon adds a semi-sextile to Pallas and a sesquiquadrate to Venus, but eschews any aspect of more than 2 degrees, for precision! This tells us that, added to the experience of either hurting or healing, we learn something, something we can define as wisdom–so what happens has a deep and useful meaning, whether we recognize that or not, and that we must adjust either relationships or finances (or perhaps even re-align values) in order to accommodate what we learn.

The Sabian for the Full Moon is ‘A Jockey Spurs His Horse, Intent on Outdistancing His Rivals’  With the Moon nestled within the square between Uranus and Pluto, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised to find that this energy is one of finishing a race, with the sense of competition at a fever pitch. Certainly we see this striving all around us, in the US at a national level with the Presidential campaign, and personally as we spoke about before, with each of us trying to empower ourselves, to enhance our individuality. This symbol suggests that all will be focused; it does not, however, promise victory.

See it all here –and Thanks to All who have! And everyone, enjoy your weekend!

Just a Little Astro Essence for 29-30 July 2012: ‘Listen’

Alma-Tadema 1888 {{PD-Art}}

This is important, for the 29th:

The Sun begins today to act as apex to a Finger of God with base of Pluto and Chiron; this offers a powerful couple of days when we can heal some major Soul-rift, or transform our skills into servants of our Soul’s intent. A big, big opportunity.

Void begins at 2:02 PM Pacific time; the Moon enters Capricorn at 12:30 AM PDT of the 30th.

July 30th dawns with a lot of well-meaning activity that might get us into a little trouble. Ceres trines Zeus and the Sun trines Uranus, and both suggest that there will be lots of reaching for and by power to realize wants and to show freedom–lots of ‘just because I can’ exuberance. We may see some problems, as our overblown sentiments may accidentally unearth things better kept hidden (Sun quincunx Pluto, sextile Vesta).

To get the whole story, please consider subscribing to ECLIPSE–Thanks!

{{PD}} Thanks, NASA!

For the 20th we see Jupiter sesquiquadrate Saturn, which may cause all kinds of discomfort as we try to adjust our attempts to reach out, expand, publicize, teach, and learn to the reality, rules, or restrictions presented to us–and this doesn’t even take into account retro Merc and our need for general communication caution–but with Merc’s contact to Pallas today, a great deal of the upset can be mitigated by consulting our own inner wisdom or a trusted advisor. Guidance sought will be guidance received–all you have to do is ask and answers will be provided. If our inner voice is muffled or confused, we can look to exercise our skills as a way to ‘open the door’ for some needed enlightenment.

Just a little astro essence for tomorrow, the 20th of July, brought to you by the letter ‘P’ (for Pallas) and the planet Saturn, pictured above, lifted straight out of the brand new issue of ECLIPSE–Order now!

Just a Little Something for Your Weekend, 14-16 July 2012: ‘The Fiery Impulse’

Thomas Cole 1828 {{PD-Art}}

On today’s Mercury Retrograde, which occurs at 7:16 PM PDT of the 14th at 12 Leo 32:

Our biggest danger during the retro time is that Mercury’s Fire placement during the initial change-of-direction could prompt us toward action with each review of Mercurial subjects and when we consider matters of the House where it turns around, as well as when we review matters of any House it may move into during the retrograde. This means that during the retro we may feel continually that ‘something must be done’, though what we need to remember at this point is that, though our re-consideration of matters reveals them in a new light, there will be other things hidden from us by the current retrograde motion of which we will remain unaware at least through the end of the retrograde, and quite possibly on through the shadow period (the time when a newly direct planet moves back through the degrees it just retrogressed through). It makes for a tough internal contradiction, as we ponder issues that quite naturally ‘light a fire’ under us that urges change, and yet we are in no sound position to make decisions that will make those changes effective!

And for tomorrow, the 15th of July:

By the 15th Saturn sesquiquadrates Ceres; authorities or our own power or maternal urges must adjust to the reality of things, likely needing to pull back and delay action, when we consider the other aspects in play–Mars semi-squares Juno, and Earth trines Sedna–actions may actually disempower us, and we just don’t have the ability at present to know what we might lose! A bit scary, unless we simply calm down and hold back. Dark of the Moon begins this evening, Pacific time, calling us to scale back and to meditate, contemplate, and go within.

We stretch into Monday, the 16th, and see what’s up:

Today Uranus also sextiles Ceres, giving the unique point of view and the individuality the license and authority to express; innovation can thrive, as can efforts by individuals and groups to work in harmony with nature. And, Venus trines Zeus, allowing us a glimpse of how desires may be fulfilled in relationship, and money can be earned through ambition–take note of what you realize/ see in this regard.

All this is from ECLIPSE, the Weekly Newsletter that features articles on astrology theory and practice, assessments of well-known people and events, commentary on specific astrological configurations, events, and aspects (this week, it’s Mercury’s Retrograde), and detailed forecast material one (and sometimes two) weeks at a time, using everything you’d expect plus Sedna, Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Juno, Chiron, and Zeus, and featuring hour-by-hour major Lunar contacts and their meaning–all for only $5 per month!

Just a Little Something for Your Week (and Weekend) Ahead 6-12 July 2012: ‘A Fertile Time’

Makes the spiritual look almost romantic, doesn’t it? Don’t be confused–fertile influences are everywhere this week! Molteni 1838 /image by Artgate Fondazione Cariplo distributed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported via Wikimedia Commons

First, just a little something about your upcoming week, from ECLIPSE Weekly Aspect Digest:

I’d like to offer an unusual warning concerning the week ahead: if you’re looking to conceive a child, the time is ripe; if you do not want a child, make sure you take extra precautions, as the Universe is just a poppin’ with fertile energy of all kinds. If you’re in creative endeavors, this is also an excellent time for you–seminal work could be generated at this point, as can a wealth of inspirations that you may spend years after exploiting through your creative work. Even a late garden can flourish in the lee of the Full Moon, so honor all that grows–it will pay off tremendously.

Now, you can’t say I didn’t tell you what’s up! For Saturday we have this:

Vesta enters 29 degrees and we may feel a great deal of pressure around the things we dedicate our lives to, or around home or mate. A sorting out needs to happen, a re-evaluation, so that we are not putting our energy toward, or showing reverence for, outmoded ideas. The Moon’s contact to Neptune assists us with this, and allows us to be truly inspired in re-ordering our priorities.

And for Sunday, the 8th of July:

On the 8th of July Mars quincunxes Neptune, adding fuel and energy to the imagination/ creative fire, but part of what we’ll have to deal with is the need to modify our actions in order to see our vision realized. Don’t balk at having to make a few changes–you’re too close to quit now.

Get the full report, week after week, for $5 per month (or less, with a 6 month subscription!) If you’re here several times a week, then ECLIPSE is for you, with articles, info, and the complete forecast that uses Chiron, Sedna, Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Juno, and Zeus and offers all major contacts/influences of the transiting Moon for the 7 day period. Support the blog, and get everything you need–order now!

And Subscribers, among various typos in this week’s ECLIPSE, the one on the “sh*t down” of Arafat’s kidneys might take the grammar police cake! My apologies for a truly unsavory mistake.
