Our imaginations run away with us, likely in all kinds of upsetting directions, as our values seem inadequate to address our wounds, and our own and others’ actions seem erratic, unreliable, unreasonable. Seem may be the operative word here, as what’s really happening is a kind of psychic purge, a discharge of Uranian energy that otherwise threatens to overload our nervous systems and with that our reasoning and intellects. Yes, ours and others’ choices and behavior today is a bit out of whack, but what comes from all this is healthy and, dare I say it, carries a measure of wisdom we wouldn’t be able to contact under more serene influences. Hold on tight, consciously throttle back every time you feel the energy spiraling out of control, and then wait: very shortly you’ll see the benefits to being calmer, to taking a step back, you’ll find the positives that come with sublimating the hair-trigger reaction to something a little more Zen and a lot more loving (Chiron sq Vesta, Neptune nov BML, Mars sq Uranus and sxt Hygeia, Sun contra-parallel Pallas and nov Venus)

Black Moon Lilith and the South Node meet–or do they? Can that even happen, when each is a calculated point? To those psychic ‘feelers’ we put out into the dark, this is as solid as any meeting between two physical bodies–and so carries a significant impact. The meeting of these points likely presents as something from the past, previously ignored or denied, that can no longer be avoided, or about which we become enraged: why has this gone on so long? We realize that at last we have the strength and personal authority to address it–which is why it lay dormant, until now. We gain by sticking with our highest values, by being willing to see where our relationships and our financial habits are taking us, and by remembering: what went wrong in our interactions, what we’d rather forget, what we really want in life. It’s a major act of pure honesty that both frees us and aligns us with reality in a useful way; those who keep dodging the facts will soon find themselves at a crossroads, the kind with no appealing options. We might as well be living in alphabet soup, so numerous and sometimes indecipherable the messages coming at us today. Whether the mash-up exists in our own thoughts or is conveyed by others, we can be sure everyone has an agenda, one focused on showing us reality, and/ or showing us what hurts. It may seem everything we do wounds, that all we can see are the difficulties, that creativity deserts us, and that everything is too rich, too costly, too too for our own good. What we can do to combat this may take us in a different direction than we’d intended or anticipated, but will not just be to our benefit, it will make the most of our instincts, empower us, and show us how to best gain from all that we ‘know but don’t know’–making our instincts and hunches a very good detour to take, a very good thing to follow, no question (Mars sxt and Sun parallel Chiron, Merc contra-parallel Zeus, opp Neptune, nov NN, parallel Sedna and Juno, Venus qnx Hygeia)

Today we can’t seem to escape the past; our attention goes there, unbidden, and even our imagination, as well as our daydreams about the future, circles back to what was. The funny part is that our inclination is to learn new things, use our knowledge to create change, to tackle what we’ve been avoiding, and so build a future we can love. If we eschew extremism, radicalism, and rebellion for rebellion’s sake, and embrace concrete steps centering on things we truly care about, we’ll likely see positive results right away–and so be inspired to put our heads down and be as productive as we can (Pallas qnx BML, Neptune nov and Sun sesq SN, Jupiter sxt Pluto, Venus sxt Saturn, opp Uranus, parallel Jupiter)

In some sense, the Warrior Awakens; we are on the move, and much of what we deal with today we deal with intellectually, using the mind to parse, judge, and sort based on ideals and our own current understanding (Mars parallel Vesta, semi-sq Neptune, enters Aquarius). Essentially we’ll be dealing with what comes at us, and so may underestimate the input generated by our own Martian impetus, our own Will and aggressive manner. What we see may be that what the social order requires, or the facts present, is a situation that is in some way detrimental to us, and that may, should we take the ‘bait’, disempower us or force us to compromise (Jupiter sesq Hygeia, Uranus qnx Ceres). The answer to the call to arms comes in two forms: one says that the only way to overcome the issue is to love what hurts us, to find a way to embrace what has up to now been unloving or unkind (Venus qnx Chiron); the other says that if we ignore what presents itself as if we must fight or acquiesce, we move beyond it, and can address our ambitions and desires in smart ways, ones that don’t drain our power (Merc nov Zeus)–I think I like that last one, don’t you?
