Are you reading my mind, am I reading yours, or is the whole thing so subtle that what each of us thinks influences others and vice versa? The atmosphere might be so transparent it’s impossible to pinpoint where a thought, idea, or inclination springs from, and so you might be unsure if that’s really what you think or want to do. With a little care to separate your own urges from everyone elses’, you can allow pure instinct to drive action–just remember, that also means that the ‘blind spot’ and the unconscious have their say, too–and it might be good to speak openly in any relationship or financial situation where love is the basis for the interaction in the first place–at least in this instance, you might be unable to do harm, as every thought reflects Love (though there’s always the chance, if the relationship really isn’t based in our best human expression, that Venus’ less appealing traits prevail in our thoughts, like greed, jealousy, and envy, and so color communications).

We’re made uncomfortable today by our own life Path, the direction we’re headed right now. Why, we may ask ourselves, do I feel like all the opportunities got used up yesterday? Why do I feel like the past was full of ‘lucky’ breaks, chances, and rife with people who supported me–and none of that’s in sight now? Why does it seem that circumstances today pull the rug from under everything I’ve dedicated my life to, making me feel as if my investments of time, energy, and resources are less noble than I thought, second-rate, inadequate, or that I made those commitments without knowing the full facts?

Somehow, today points out to us that the past is a mirage and the future comes without guarantees, and that may be freaking us out. A few things we can do: if we must inspect the past, stick to the facts and forget feelings–that alone will show you things weren’t ideal then, either; do what’s healthy; and embrace whatever it is you have faith in, and act–that will open up opportunity in a way nothing else will.

Instincts and what we ‘know but don’t know’ spurs us on, even as what we’re prompted to do conflicts with our highest values and priorities–it’s one of those instances when we’re all like, ‘I would never kill anyone oh no I may have to kill the person chasing me they’ve almost got me and they’re trying to kill me, it’s me or them, I don’t want to but *boom*’ We are put in a position we normally would swear is the very antithesis of our own standards, and it feels as if we have no choice. I’m sure the real-life scenario will be less murder-y, but no less carry the feeling that in order to prevail, no, survive, we’ll need to accept benefits that come from a darker place–the ones that come from dealing with what’s unpleasant, that may reveal the darker edges of our own nature–and in the end, that’s going to be okay. What put us in this spot is a reluctance to face certain matters in the first place; what’s put in the spotlight today for us is what has manifested from our own unused creative energy, forcing us to make choices and to alter the scene for our own survival.

It’s all about the mind, reasoning, thought, communication, the figurative ‘voice’, mental perception, ‘nerve’, as Merc flees staid Capricorn to free-wheelin’ Aquarius, taking our faculties with him. Moving from a Cardinal to a Fixed sign may slow processing down, but things may change on a dime today, and we’ll play catch up.  Current aspects made threaten delusion or deception–but that only happens if your personal grasp of the facts, belief system, and/ or anchor to reality is weak. Otherwise, we get a creative boost, feel strong, healed (maybe even a tad invincible), with only ‘the group’ Will or our own erratic nature getting in the way.

We expect all the good stuff, today, and we get it, but in the strangest forms, amounts, and requiring the most unanticipated responses! What’s smart is neither here nor there, as they say, making for an ‘anything goes’ atmosphere where consequences seem almost blissfully unconnected to actions, where healing is facilitated by the most unpleasant of alternatives, and yet, somehow, everyone comes out unscathed and, in some cases, a lot better off.
